I know, infact above is the portion of my wish list i posted sometimes back Idi Smotri is nothing but "Come and See" I am downloading it now. Yes, some of the movies changed my perception about wars, infact that is one of the reason i keep on watching them. Watched two more movies.

1) Two Men Went To War

It's true story about 2 Men from Army Dental Core going to War for experiencing some action (Without the knowledge of Authorities). But the movie is kinda boring.

The English Movies Thread (No Spoilers Please)-two_men_war_bw_cover.jpg

2) The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

Man, what can i say; an excellent movie. Though the canvas is WW-2, this is the story about 2 8years old boys (Son of the concentration camp Commander and and a Jewish boy who is an inmate of camp). They have become friends, and series of incidents after this. A MUST watch.

Mithun. NC meant it for JLO and not for Sean Penn.

How can anyone forget Sean Penn helping her down from the table she climbs

Watched a couple of movies over the weekend :-

"The Usual Suspects" Starring Gabriel Byrne and Kevin Spacey
What a movie ! one of the best original story and brilliant acting by Spacey.

I think he even got an oscar for his role. However, i couldnt enjoy much since the DVD print quality was terrible

Hindi Movie Chocolate copied from this movie

4.5/5

The Godfather-Part 1

No introductions as this movie itself is a legend. I loved the book more but this movie could be closest that can come to a book on which its based.

5/5

Michael Mann had set a high standard in the gangster genre with the DeNiro, Pacino combination in Heat. So, my expectations were high for fireworks from the Johnny Depp, Christian Bale combo in Mann's Public Enemies (watched on Saturday). Bale's role, though significant, was more of a supporting one. The movie belongs to Depp and he is stunning as John Dillinger. Overall, a satisfactory view.

Can some suggest good horror movies. Most I have watched, making sure I missed nothing.
There are a few good ones:

1) Saw 6
2) Excorcist
3) The Inside - I haven't yet watched it but considered to be too good, its French I guess
4) Paronormal Activity
5) Cannibal Holocaust
6) The Thing
7) The Orphan
8) Blood - The Last Vampire
9) Pandorum - More of Sci-Fi types
10) Twilight

Add 'The Italian Job' to the list as well. I liked the scene involving the Minis in it.

True, that scene was awesome.

And another addition is Ronin. The BMW chase sequence was mind blowing.
