Hey why dont you'll come up with Team-Bhp Messenger !! Something like the yahoo and the msn messenger !

Been wondering for a few hours looking for car prices(first and second hand) on team-bhp, there is no list of prices available.

Suggestion- Setup a wiki at team-bhp.com/wiki or wiki.team-bhp.com and link it from one of the main forums.

Setup the wiki into spreadsheet like format,
eg-

Manufacturer |Model New Price(delhi | bombay | madras | bangalore...)
Maruti Suzuki Baleno- xxxx xxxxxx xxxxx.........

Then members can add 2nd hand car prices with the date, city and price they bought or sold it for. A lot more secondary information can be added, i.e odometer readings, additional accessories etc. If you allow members to enter this information, the database will build up quickly and it will be dynamic. Let's say in march, prices increase or decrease according to the budget, prices can be updated. There's no need to wait for some individual to update prices for 6 months, a year etc.
If you guys need help setting it up, let me know. The software is free, server space needed is min. as the wiki is restricted to a small category and server usage too will be min.

Hope this idea is taken seriously. In time it can become the definitive price guide for new and used car prices in india.

P.S why not make wiki pages for individual cars itself, that would be even more informative and useful. eg- team-bhp.com/wiki/maruti%baleno

I echo your thought nikhil, when i first saw this red, was happy to see a change - thought the old days are back again when you had a chance to change the theem depending upon your mood. but dumb struck by single color.

Yeah we need the blue one. This is good but easily noticeable especially at work. will grab attention of my bosses.

I guess they are overhauling a few stuff. hope it will be back soon. pleeeeeeeeease.

This theme looks good!

But, even i think the old one should be given as an option atleast...

Hang in there guys. The minute that the latest versions of our skins are released, they will be made available on Team-BHP. It should happen very shortly.

ALL Those senior members having over 1000 posts-WHO helped this community to become popular (and took part in discussion in early days) must be given some XTRA previledge in my opinion,think on it please.Afterall today when we see this forum on its peak is because of them in my opinion.

Hi ECM,

Your point is well taken care of here

Team-BHP has always believed in quality over quantity, so number of posts (1000+, like you say) isn't as important as contributing in terms of quality to this internet community.
