Mods, I've been noticing off late that the "you've been quoted" pm's haven't been coming consistently. In the last few weeks, three times that I was quoted, I got no pm. The thing is, the message comes most of the time, but not all the time.
Hope the issue is soon resolved

It has already been answered several times in this same thread. Quotes from the mobile app do not generate the PM and hence you are not seeing it every time you are being quoted.

EDIT:

I just got a popup on my screen now, the only site I have open is Team-BHP. Anyone else got something similar, or did I manage to get some adware somehow?

99%, it's a malware on your computer (1% it's something on the Team-BHP server). There is no way we are showing that.

I have got similar popups when I log in from my laptop or use the browser on my Tab or phone. It could be from the server itself. I don't have a screenshot to attach, will take one if it appears next time.

Dear mods,

Somebody today created a new thread with title similar to 'stiff power steering' where I posted too. I could not find the thread anymore. Was that deleted? I could not find it merged with any other thread and I am asking so as to be sure that it was not a case of accidental data loss as I found the question relevant. The thread still shows up in Google search:

It could be taken offline by the MODS to review it OR it could be deleted.

If it is under review and may be in the process to merge it, the link won't be available till then.

I usually browse TBHP with multiple TBHP tabs opened at any given time.
I have a strange problem from last one week.
If I leave TBHP-Forum homepage tab and go to other TBHP tabs, the forum homepage automatically becomes FLIPKART homepage and then it hangs all the tabs.
I use official laptop for browsing and can confirm that our machines are kept upadted with proper virus protection.
Pls help.

Holy shoot! I had the same problem, though I thought i accidentally clicked on a banner or something.

In my case it doesn't hang the browser. Clicking 'back' on that Flipkart tab takes me back to Team-BHP.

What browser are you using?

I am using IE9. We don't have much control on this. I personally prefer Safari.
I dont wish to report this to my IT team, otherwise the idiots will go the easy way and block TBHP and that is NOT acceptable.

EDIT: Bloody hell, now if I click anywhere on BLACK BACKGROUND on any TBHP page, it turns to FLIPKART. This is becoming irritating. The interesting fact is that all shopping sites are blocked in my office including FK.

What happened to the Expand and Collapse functionality for Thanks given to a post ?
The default (collapsed) displays a "-" and when clicked to expand it, it remains "-". I remember this used to be "+" in collapsed state and "-" when expanded ?
See this for example:




*And in the last couple of days, I also distinctly remember an instance when it just the opposite with "+" in collapsed and expanded state! Not sure if that was when browsing on the mobile though.
