Why? It will be in the manual (plus on some part of the vehicle) for every car. Why would you want to know as part of a review? Just curious!

Thad Sir, TBHP reviews are more interesting and easier to process.
I rely on these reviews more than any other automobile information on-or-offline.

Since the platform already has a section on cars, bikes, parts, etc. having a section on cycles will help us
1. Get new bikers (cyclists) on-board as preowned ones are significantly cheaper
2. Give a new life to the bike
3. Help seasoned bikers grasp attractive deals on premium bikes.

Thanks
Open to discussion
+1 to this request. Makes sense given the increasing interest in cycles.

Standard practice:

1. Manufacturers put this info on a sticker in the driver door frame. Check that.
2. Use those numbers for city driving. You can reduce by 1-2 to increase comfort, or increase by 1-2 to may be increase FE. (As per your preferences).
3. For highway driving, increase by 2 psi.

All numbers are for cold tyre conditions.

The numbers listed by the manufacturer are generally good for normal driving - city or highway. I normally increase the pressure by 1 psi for highway driving.

Do you see the post number on the top Right of your post (#7400 or something)?

Right-click on that and there is an option to bookmark. Then your post gets bookmarked.

Cheers

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

Hi,

Is there an option to report a thread to the mods? I could not find an option for the following thread:
https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/road-...es-2021-a.html

The thread title is incorrect and misleading. I had raised the same with the thread creator but haven't received any reply.

Maybe you could just report the opening post in the thread (the one where the creator of the thread has put in their views), and explain the reason for reporting as misleading title?

Cheers

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

Please add a new feature called "launch calendar". It should be in a calendar format documenting all the new cars & bike launches in India only. (Global will become too much but can still be considered for the benefit of global users). Will help a lot in helping the users to identify new potential products, will help in tracking updates, facelifts, new version launch timelines and history on a specific product as well as across the market.

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

May I request the Moderators and and Distinguished Bhpians to explore the possibility of merging all the hitherto created threads paying tributes to dead people into a single Obituaries Thread.

Going forward, the same could be used to post tributes to all departed souls, irrespective of their work sphere and stature.

The Obituaries Thread may be kept in the non thankable Et cetera part of the Shifting Gears section.

Thanks in advance.

I'd say... the thread may be short or long, but, if they are worth mentioning, let them have their own thread. If merged, all will be lost in confusion. Finding, for instance, Sam Kapasi, will be harder than finding a 2014 Polo GT!

It could be said that minor celebrities, members and others, could go into a general thread --- but who is to decide?

Besides people getting a chance to express their loss (agreed, some might only be a formality, but surely not all), Obituarty threads serve another purpose: if a family member, or other close person misses the departed, the can go through the thread, and might find some solace.

From that perspective, individual threads seem a lot more appropriate.

The threads being in shifting-gears without the 'Thanks' option aligns with my view too. Though 'Thanks' too serves a purpose, in such threads, it should be okay if there are numerous posts (each with their own expression and emotion) which convey similar things. I believe the 'Thanks' option influences how and what people write - and that is avoidable for such threads.

Thanks also means "me too," which we are not allowed to post even if we pad it out a bit more.

There is a strange behavior I am noting, every time I report a post of my own to make some edits, the post counter increases by one? Has anybody else observed this?

Reporting a post - either one’s own or others’ - is treated as a separate post. As it helps in maintaining the quality of the forum, the act of reporting is acknowledged and the post count increased.

I happen to know this because I too had once requested the mods not to treat the act of reporting as a post.
