Exactly what changed the match IMO.
India needed 81 from last 10overs with 4 wickets in hand and both Doni and Pathan could score 8 runs from these 3 overs which probably changed the match.In-spite of loosing wickets regularly India was in sight of victory but some brainless batting by both batsmen lead to run rate rise steepily.

Even till about last 4 overs Doni never took any risk and tried to score 15-20runs in an overs. What was he thinking, that he can score 32 runs from last 2 overs?

And why is he demoting himself since IPL began? He did so many times in IPL and lost the match for his team.IMO all talk about his captaincy is hype and he is also just like any other Indian captain except Ganguly.

It was a good batting wickets to bat on and any side with decent batting lineup should have chased this score.

IMO India actually though they had won before even the match started. The media had also said Dhoni s men start favourites. We were quite over confident.I actually did expect Pak to fire back after they were thrashed.
Anyways good lesson for us. End of the day better team won. I think Dhoni has to make one change in the team. Playing 7 batsmen all the time will surely prove a risk. They should bring in some1 like Gony who can bat a bit too.
Opposition will surely target Yusuf , Sehwag & Co.

Quote:
This time it is reports of the fiery pacer reportedly involved in an altercation with the staff of the Grand Ashoka hotel in Bangalore on Sunday.
Quote:
It is believed that a major row broke out between the hotel staff, Sreesanth and his friend as they insisted on shifting to another room.

Sreesanth who was staying at the hotel with a friend, got into a heated argument with the hotel management in the middle of the night reportedly over a noisy air-conditioner.
Another juvenile stuff - can't handle a simpe situation

Meanwhile, Dhoni blames loss on top-order failure, tactical mistakes

Mahendra Singh Dhoni blamed the heart-breaking 25-run loss to Pakistan in the ODI tri-series final on the top-order's failure to build solid partnerships, while admitting that he too committed a couple of tactical blunders.

Dhoni admitted that sending Suresh Raina up the order instead of himself was a mistake.

Also, letting off Pakistan in last 25 overs by wrong field placement.

I get the feeling that these 50 overs matches are fast losing favour with the fans.

Rohit Sharma has to fire today. His strike rate in last few matches has been quite pathetic. Hope its his day -today.
Rameez Raja reckons it's bone dry and should help the batsmen. Apparently some 30 first-class games have been played here recently and no life remains on the track.

Yet another IND-PAK clash today - Will Indian bowlers get their act on flat pitches?

Will Gony play? Anyway he has his problems off-field: My life is under threat from my own son: Gony's mother

I read in papers that its a do or die for Pak. I thought after SL beat Bangla . SL was through to the finals ! Shoaib Malik is not sure of playing today. That could be a big blow to Pak.

Dont think pak has enough resolve to pull off a win even if we let them.
