Cricinfo :" Another loss, and Pakistan could well see a new captain and coach"

Quite harsh IMO. Captain cant do much when there is so much things happening in Pak Cricket ( Asif detained in Dubai, Shoaib Banned).
Seems like Misbah will be the next captain if the PCB does decide for a new captain. Coming to the Coach Lawson has been quite arrogant & over confident at times. And his stir with Pak media is making things worse for him. Do we see another Aussie coach being dropped??

I think that is inevitable after today's game.

We all are assuming here that India will once again defeat Pak today. However knowing the way the ball rolls where Indi-Pak matches are concerned I won't be surprised if all of a sudden today the Pak team comes charging back into action. Remember what happened last month in the tri-series?

India was off to a flyer 86/0 in 10 overs. Now 94/3 in 12.4 overs.
Courtesy: Useless shots. Malik & Lawson will be praying in the dressing
room to pull this one off. Or they would both loose their post.

Yawn ! So it happened. Pak beat India.

Good - now we loose to SL today and crash out of the Asia Cup. Dhoni will then blame tiredness.

Finals India vs SL - 1 hr away ! SL have the advantage of the past record .
India has the habit of somehow losing it in the finals . But ill still bet on India to pull this one off. Go India Go!!!

Well for both the teams the openers must fire to give them a substantial total. I am not so confident about the indian bowling where as SL have Vaas and Muralidharan. Mendis can contribute too. In short, it is going to be a battle of batsmen.

At present Jayasuria is making merry of India's bowling. Dhoni does not have choices as all otehr bowlers except RP have failed miserably in this tournment.

EDIT: SL lost 4th wicket. Its 69/4 in 13 Overs. Good bowling by Ishant today.

Ishant has been quite decent . i think Irfan should be given another break ( Sweetest word for "dropped") . Irfan was recalled too fast after being dropped from the side. I think we need some medium pace bowler to slow down the pace between 25-40th over.

India needs 274 to win. Gettable for sure. But they gotta play Vaas & Murali safely. Mendis should be interesting too watch .

As it turned out, it was a masterful move by Jayawardene to 'rest' Mendis for the previous match. The mystery bowler completely bamboozled and foxed the Indian batsmen with his 'carrom' ball! Its simply amazing the way he bowls that particular delivery, and the fact that he can control the line and length while flicking the ball with his middle finger

SL tried the old trick against India - hide a bowler and let lose him in the important match. It has happened in the past (I can recall Aquib Javed, Rana Naved, Klusner, Franklin Rose). It happened again.

I ask what is Mr Gary Kirsten doing? Time for him to come up with some batting strategy in finals.

The Drug Theory rears it's head again. I hope this time atleast the ICC has the guts to ban the offending player (if confirmed). Every time there is this tamasha of Pakistan Players being in the news for such things and still they play.
