Rohit, Kohli are senior players. Bend, bow to elders could be the norm for new players like Venkatesh and Shreyas Iyers, Surya Yadav, Ishan Kishan. This man Kohli deserve this team performance. He is a misfit as captain for any format. I'm atleast happy that he will get out of that position after WC.

P.S: Is it real spasm for SKY or cooked up to save one of senior's place in playing 11 which I doubt. If the later India deserve a loss.

I am thoroughly disappointed following Indian Cricket. They make a lot of noise outside the field than on the field.

Few commentators mentioned that Indian Players had the biggest advantage to have played on these pitches before the World Cup. I dont see any advantage, startegy or even some critical thinking from the captain, coaches and seniors.

End of the day Kohli would say something assertive that he is now fully trained to. Said it earlier, this team moves on very quickly to play with dire emotions.

Well, I’m off for now. The TV is turned off. No point in trying to watch and feeling bad.

Picking a book and a nice cup of tea and some good breeze in the terrace.

Wow what attitude by Pandya. Didn’t even bother to cross after hitting the shot. What is this guy for in the team? Neither he bowls, nor is able to contribute anything worthwhile with the bat. But attitude is over the moon for what? Some performances for MI? These should be axed from the team first. Pathetic attitude.

The performance, intent, body language & shot selections have been disappointing. If we bowl well and get Kane Williamson under 5 then we do have a chance.

However, I am going to stop following Indian Cricket in T20s. We are a good team for Test Cricket. Only like Kohli as a captain is his attitude towards Test Cricket. He values it and takes effort to voice his thoughts across to the Management. This can be done as a player as well so dearly hope we get a new captain in all formats by end of the year.

At the start of the match, I remarked to my wife that the current Indian team reminded me of the amazing Argentina and Brazil teams during the football world cups - full of star-studded names that did wonderful feats in the English & European leagues for their respective clubs, but woefully not able to repeat the feats for their countries to similar effect/impact.
