Funnily enough, someone else came forward to the Police Station claiming to be the driver and surrendered. But cops had CCTV footage incriminating Haris' son.

Also, the red LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale from Mumbai is actually white, but has sported multiple wraps (matte red / purple chrome etc) over the past few years.
My bad Zebo I meant Supperleggera and not just any 570-4. Thanks M

Thats total poppycock! He has the responsibility to ensure the proper conditions from road surface to the weather.

Actual cause apart from the speed was his ham-fisted steering abilities. The lanes at the traffic lights are 3. One passes the lights and the road narrows to two lanes. Our Sunny Boy dragged ahead and steered coarsely to the left, being a mid-engined, it responded in kind (basically mid-engined cars turn very lightly and suddenly the rear momentum from the engine bites in. If it had been a 911 without all the aids, it would have hit the Audi full front!

He did no such thing. Agreed that he tried to show off and didn't really understand his car, but there's no ham fisted left turn. In fact, there's a hint of opposite lock right when he realised he's swinging out.
But hey, his car, his fault, his behind in trouble. Deservedly.

Another case of influential politician's kid who seems to be repeat offender. End of it all will result in no action being taken.

Nothing new. This happens all the time. Only the ones who are not politically connected face the music. Those politically connected usually are above the law or so it seems.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

I'm sorry, but I can't help laughing looking at that guy taking off in that Lambo. The intense level of throttling has just shot the rear outwards and this shows how "good" our man's driving skills are.

You may have a supercar, but it also requires superbrains to assess the situation around you. These vehicles aren't forgiving if you take them for granted.

Thankfully no one was at the police kiosk and no injury, hence I can enjoy a hearty laugh.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

It is always fun watching 'players' with more dough than grey cells crashing they rides all over the place.

Happens very frequently in the super bike circles, where its often fatal. Well, when you sign up for a 200 hp crotch rocket , you must put stupid in the bin if you want to live.

All this racer managed to do is humiliate himself , cause nuisance and damage a very exotic piece of machinery.

Those words should be displayed on the dashboard of every car, and, somehow, for bikes, to every driver, rich or poor. Maybe for the whole of our lives. However much we think we know, it is always easy to be stupid.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

Here are more pictures of the crash. The CCTV footage of the accident has gained some traction thanks to social media. The person driving the Mustang, tries to overtake a bunch of cars that are waiting behind a bus (which is likely at a bus stop), misjudges the available space, tries to brake and seeing as there is no place to go, rams headfirst into the incoming truck that appears to be well in its lane. Though the footage is not crystal clear, it is evident that the mistake lies completely with whoever was driving the Mustang. I hope the people travelling in the truck were safe, there is some blood splatter on the truck.

Here is the video of the crash. Looks like complete fault lies with the Mustang driver.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

Absolutely disgraceful and pathetic to say the least.

Inexperienced Idiot swerved on to oncoming traffic and that too when the continuous line started, and after all this tries to put the blame on others.

Completely agree. People make mistakes. It's totally understandable. But if you don't accept it and try to correct yourself, you're nothing short of an idiot.

From the shots of the truck, it is clear that he had put at least one innocent person in the hospital. Even then he didn't show any remorse and just rambled on about being a 'professional' driver who suffered an ill fate at the hands of the less qualified. Such people are the reason why some hate super/sport cars and the true enthusiasts who could afford one.

Mr. Toxin, if you ever come across this post, I just want you to know that you should absolutely keep your name tag. You're indeed among the toxins that bring a bad name to real enthusiasts.

Hello Mr. Toxin, whoever you are, you're nothing less than a moron on our roads. I hope the police catches up with you and your stupid antics on public road which has definitely resulted in injury to atleast one person. The video should be used an evidence against you. Just because you ended up destroying your Mustang doesn't mean that you can shift blame to an innocent person for the damages incurred. The video also shows us that your license should be revoked. You'll be better off on passenger seat than on driver's.
