I too would love to go to Karnala, but Oye Punjab seems to be a preferred choice over Karnala. Even if the Karnala meet didn't happen this Sunday, please let me know if it could be scheduled in Feb.

Congratulations on your lens but you do realize your just dividing the crowd further, might as well just have 7 different meets on the same day, right?

I'm sure a lot of people can find time to drop in at your hotel some other day, I mean its just going for lunch, right? People eat lunch like 7 times a week!

Drive (not meet) discussed on the 'primary' Mumbai meet thread requires people to distribute their precious sunday time between family, team-bhp and their own chores which is not possible every other day. I hope you can understand.

If you want to go to Karnala, I'm sure we will for another meet. This isn't the 1st or the last Mumbai meet, don't make it about yourself; I'd like to look at team-bhp as more of a community (scratch that), family of automotive enthusiasts.

It's all exciting with so many cars and so many places. Hence marked myself tentative here. Because this is also another choice in the earlier thread itself. And I'd voted against all the 7 choices. That's what's making it more difficult to decide which way to go, when people are having a divided house.

The only limitation I have is a start not before 8:30 am or even 9 am as my family strictly goes along where ever I go. Waiting for the poll results on that thread to exactly see who is going where. I don't think all the 25 odd people are going to join the drive to the same place. If that happens, I'd be even happier. If it doesn't then there's always more sundays!

When are we closing that poll so that preparations can be done?

I have asked for a repoll with only the 3 options. Hopefully it will be done and some consensus can be reached. Then everyone can decide if they want to join in or not. I really don't think we should be opening new threads for each of the options.

That's the unfortunate part. There is no 'popular' choice on that thread dude.
NH8 seems to be winning by poll yet people discuss Nashik,Karnala and even Igatpuri which had the least votes.
What was the whole point of the poll in the first place ?
What's more..i still dont quite understand why in the name of god was a new poll requested for ? Were the earlier results not credible ? Honestly i just see it as a re-poll because the result that was expected was not achieved. In that case why have a poll ? Just bluntly decide, we are going 'here' and those who are interested can join, those not can take a hike. It sounds rude but also makes things simple.
Why do you think the few members from the German car group made a choice of NH8 and pulled out ?? We made a decision for ourselves after seeing the confusion and indecisiveness on that thread that we want to head to NH8 and anyone interested is most welcome to join us.
We did not wish to be dragged into all the confusion and as it turns out (with the new poll and still no concrete decision on the location), it was the smartest move all of us made.
That is the only reason why i agree with fre2bpowerless that this thread could perhaps have added to the confusion. If you know the people interested in kalyan, why not just PM them ??

I have voted for Amby. Since everyone seems to have a choice there were bound to be problems deciding the location. Its easier when the location is decided first. I might be riding as well.
