Swirls are unavoidable in our conditions. At best, we can prevent deeper swirls. As for products, you don't have to go anywhere, they can be ordered to your doorstep. I suggest trying:

detailedclean.in (Autofinesse,Blackfire)
greenz car care
ultimate detailerz (Car Pro,Ultima,Sonus,Klasse)
keystone enterprises (Has stock of Meguiars products)
ebay.in
bringingbest.in

I've bought from all the sites mentioned above, and have had a satisfactory experience with them all. If you want paint protection, you can choose from-wax,sealant or coatings. The best option is sealant since coatings will need some professional help in application.

I had a black car and used-Blackfire wet diamond and Gloss enhancing polish for the very first time I saw minor swirls. I started by claying, polishing and used a sealant in the end. You can check the results and detailed explanation of the process here:

sheel if you have the time and patience then pick up the meguiar products and do the detailing yourself. Requires hordes of elbow grease , but trust me it's worth the pain. Detail your car over a 2 day schedule.
I just did the same with my 5 year old Scorpio, spent close to 8 hours over a Saturday and Sunday and finished the job. If the swirls are too prominent you will need to take it to a professional detailer.

I brought most of the detailing products online from autofresh.in. You can call up these folks and check if they ship to where you live.

Not sure if this link was posted here before but here goes. An Audi RS4 detailed to bits with an excellent write-up, WIP photographs and detailed descriptions of the products that were used. Worth a look IMO.

That is the part where the swirl marks come in.
Do you have a pressure washer by any chance? If yes, use that. The less amount of touching with cloth that your car would get, the better it is.

After applying wax/ sealant, I have noticed that a pressure wash with a simple pipe is enough to get rid of 99% of the stuff that falls from the trees. If it is just dust, then it is simpler for it to get washed off (unless you drive in rains).

I have tried Ultima Paint Guard Plus (buy) and it seems to do a good job for the roof, but not so much for the boot lid (I need to try that again).

Your said product isn't showing up in my browser, please provide a different link.

EDIT: I can't seem to purchase these even via debit card option :( Seems I will have to go some distance away or get it done locally using 3M & Wurth products.

I used the Meguiar's Ultimate Quick wax Spray and its pretty good. The link I posted earlier was the Sonus ION Coating for paint protection.

Here : http://www.ebay.in/itm/Sonus-ION-Coa...item418f66caf8

In case you plan to detail the car yourself, get an APC too. I used the PROKLEAR RAW Xtreme Rinseless APC available here http://www.ebay.in/itm/161324078272?...84.m1423.l2649 .

Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

Planning to do detailing session on my Ford Classic (Diamond White) in the coming week. Thinking about going for a sealant and polish this time. Steps I intend to do:

i. Clean with Jopasu Duster
ii. Shampoo wash with Amway car wash and dry
iii. Clay with Elastrofoam
iv. Apply Meg's Ultimate Polish (UP) using Lake Country Orange Pad
v. Apply 3 coats of Ultima Paint Guard Plus (with 45 minutes curing time)
vi. Top up with a single layer of Optimum Car Wax (OCW)

Any modifications required? Using the UP with orange pad to remove the existing layers of OCW as the Elastrofoam claims that it won't strip off the wax coating.

Request you to post before and after pics, once you are done with the detailing session.

@ Sheel

For temporary / quick fix, you could try Poor Boy's black hole. Can be used both by hand or by DA polisher.

Permanent of course would be the going compound way with the usual steps of finishing involved.

Thanks SunnyBoi, Which pressure wahser, Snow Foam Lance and Snow Foam you use or suggest?

Can this be done with Bosch Aquatak 100 (comes with Flexi Jet Lance)?

How about CarPro Iron X Snow Soap?

Personally I would skip step 1 when I'm shampoo washing. To start with, I pour water to drain away dust and then start the wash. Jopasu is used when I do a waterless wash with Proklear.

The Bosch should be good enough. You;ll need a snow foam with a Bosch attachment similar to the one below

http://www.detailedclean.in/washing-...ch-fitting-129

The CarPro IronX Snow foam is a good choice.

Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

Did the yearly detail on the palio!

Process:

Wash
Clay
Compound
Polish
Jewel
Wolf's Chemicals Body Wrap coating

whole car clayed and decontaminated. There was severe paint overspray on all panels since a car was being repainted next booth when car went for service 2 weeks back.

Wet sanding the hood, fender and bumper. These were repainted 2 months ago.
