I suggest you to format the pen drive once and see if the issue repeats. If the issue does repeat then inform the team at MASS to look into the matter.

Anurag.
I have tried 3 different pen drives and had the issue with all three of them. Two of them were brand new. Will check with MASS.

Even I would want to go for the projector setup and led taillights when I will be looking around for cars in July. But 2.1 lakh for the whole thing will take the price to a whole new level. And kits for VDI/VXI sounds nonsense. Looks like they promote cars without safety features. Someone with pockets deep enough for the optional kit can of course pay for safety.

Hoping for a slew of car launches with safety features at decent price, and of course, the swift facelift to choose from.

70K for the lighting setup and 1.4 Lakhs for the rest kit, stickers etc.

AFAIK, this kit addition (a.k.a Volt) is only for the VDi trim not for VXi. Not sure why they are promoting diesel so much and that too mid-variant. I am pretty sure the facelift that is being launched soon will not be anything to go gaga over, they add a DRL, may be cruise control, some stickers/chrome.

Till the Indian government doesn't go out and say safety kit is mandatory on ALL variants and ALL cars only then sense will dawn on them, till then we can't do anything.

Swift face lift is speculated to come with the Diesel -AMT Variant.

MSI is said to have scheduled the launch of tweaked Dzire and Swift hatchback by festive season. Speculations also suggest that Maruti could also equip its flagship Swift hatchback with the contemporary AMT gearbox, which might give both the cars a competitive edge over competitiors.

That is some good news and hope the AMT is mated to the diesel one and moreover hope it is available on the top-end variant too.

Hey, you can get similar kinds out in the open market/online man. No need to go to MASS and all, even if they do have it, i ll be priced over the top.

I did enquire at a MGP store for these headlights and tail lights. It was quoted at Rs 74000 with a waiting period to source them were 2-3 days.

I kept the option aside for the moment.

2.15 lacs kit for a 7 lacs car??? Do you think it's really worth it?

Is Maruti launching these kits in India hoping that anyone would buy them at that price point?

Apart from this, do you have any idea about the cost of general HID lighting and where in hyderabad can I get those at a reasonable price?
