Oh boy i am going to sell my linea soon if my service centre woes continues

The gear shift problem reoccurred again. I sent my car to concorde again a week back and car came today back and when i inspected the car back before signing i saw this

They have damaged the rear bumper and sent the car back to me. they have also lost the rear right quarterglass chrome strip


Team-bhp does not allow me foul-mouthing. ut thats what i get in my mouth now. the quality of service is appalling even after 2 years.

You can see my thread . each time i have sent the car for service they have damaged my car and sent.

I have decided to retain the car for one more year and sell off. it is better to get some other car and live with piece of mind than to live with all these service centre woes

The last time i gave the car for service in month of september this happened

and car also came back with missing antenna

I still don't know how come service centre people treat a customer like this.

Since you would be keeping the car with you for at least 2-3 months, the first thing that you must do now is to send e-mail to the FIAT officials(especially Mangesh Kodalkar).They will surely take up your case seriously and take the necessary actions.

Did you talk with the manager of the service centre? What was his reply? Did they assure you that they will touch-up the bumpers free of cost?

PS: Don't fail to attach these images while you send the e-mail.

Ashwin, with so much of troubles with this service centre in the last 2 years, its time to make them repay their wrongdoings.

Post this link to FIAT with a strong message. Complete shakeup of this particular service centre is required.

Such service centres spoil the fun of owning the beauties from FIAT.

This is the only reason why I left Concorde long ago.. PLs go to TAFE reach.. they do a better job for sure and its very very evident.. i must say, I have got good service from them so far. pls go to TAFE reach Greams road from now on.

This is outrageous.This is a sheer example of showing huge dis interest in the customer by both Fiat and Tata.

At this rate no one would want to own a Fiat albeit its quality.

I own a punto and service him at VST motors chennai. Not much about their service can be mentioned here. Seems like Tafe is doing better. So dont lose hope and raise a complaint and shift the car to better place. The car deserves better.It definitely does !!

This is really sad. Concorde is supposed to be directly owned by Tata Motors and one expects better service from company onwed dealerships.


Have you taken this up with Fiat? I'm sure you must have. I have just posted this link in their feedback section. Lets see what reply i get. This kind of treatment reminds me so much of our Uno days when the car came back with more problems than it had...

hi all,

yeah i have escalated the problems to fiat. the main problem is the repair the car and give back each time but the case closes after that. the dont do a postmortem and they dont make sure they dont repeat the mistake. each time it has become a nightmare to leave the car for service at concorde.

This time i have categorically refused to take back the car unless they pay compensation for all their fault.

@geeash - Did you manage to get the remote changed last time? Are only the buttons replaceable or does the whole remote have to be changed ?

the buttons were changed and given back to me. the buttons can be changed separately mate!!

Update

As usual Tata and Fiat has become silent. the car has come back 2 weeks before after concorde doing the painting free of cost. but they are yet to give me some sort of compensation for all the awful service they have given me added to that all the mental agony. I am in no mood to leave it as it is. i have not paid the charges for anything this time.

called up mangesh and told him bluntly that i will take no more beating


The car is fine as good as it was before

Have installed ecodrive yesterday and on the process of driving the car for 5 days for complete analysis of my driving

Have purchased Philips Xtreme power H1 and H7 lamps for my car from abroad.
Special thanks to bnzjon who made this possible. yet to analyse the stock and the newer bulbs. will do it within this week and post for you guys. the bulb says it gives 80% more luminosity than the standard bulb and 30% more wide and straight throw.

Lets see whether it works out.

meanwhile went to bosch care centre vadapalani ( opposite to AVM studio) for my dads car repair. ( painting door and other odd job). was very much impressed with their work on the painting of kyara colour verna.

They do all kinds of service too and also do car detailing

i enquired to find out that they use meguair stuff( wax and others) for the car detailing . i am yet to try it there. will soon do that too

Very bad service from Concorde.
Time to shift to either VST or Tafe.
Whether the paint and finish matches with the remaining body color.
No TATA Service Stations in Chennai are good in paint jobs.
We have to live with it or to sell the car and buy something else.

If you have any plan to go to 3M for polishing.
Give me a call.I also come with you.
My car badly needs a paint refurbishment.

I have already spoken to Vinayagamurthy through Ashwin last week.
Moreover, i know tis guy when i fixed my sunfilm (back & rear) last time.

Will see if Ashwin too can join us.
