Guys, Just wanted to share my experience with the door handle of Figo.

My friend by accident leaned heavily on the door handle on the drivers side and it broke. Would this be difficult to fix as the plastic around the key hole seems to be of a complicated fit. Need to go the servicing station one of these days. Would be hosting the pics.

I still have not been given mudflaps by the dealer and it has been a month since delivery. The stock answer is shortage. New owners. Is this true?

Also when and how does the third year warranty certificate get delivered? Thanks in advance.

Think you have to replace the entire unit.

Normally it happens immediately. Else raise it with Ford directly

Takes about 1-2 months and it comes to your mailing address directly from Ford

Given my comments in bold

Any idea if there is a complete set of rubber mats (front, back and boot) for the figo as the rains are approaching? If yes how much would it cost and i am sure it would be priced steep with the dealers? Does anyone know any accessory shop in Bangalore who would have this please?

I actually went to Mantri Mall in Bangalore(Malleshwaram) and got this "Packy Poda" mats for 1125 from Spar. But no boot mat included in them. I use plastic covers till I get the one promised to me by the dealer.

These mats are made of silicon and are dark greenish. Quite good - zero smell and shiny. Now I can rest at ease when occupants with dirty shoes enter the car.

Lot of Figo's are seen in Chennai now a days - both Petrol and Diesel. Able to pick one in all traffic signals. I think deliveries are streamlined.

Forgot to mention this - when I went to get my Figo serviced, the whiteboard had 3 points mentioned on it. All 3 pertained to Figo also, but I remember only the last point.

Which was - "Increase the Torque in the <something>". Applicable to all models.

Figo 1.6?

Does anyone know if Ford plans to launch Figo with Fiesta's 1.6 petrol engine? That would be a very good and affordable & sporty car and I am sure there are many people (including me) who would be interested in it..

Dont think Figo 1.6 would be coming, as they have lined up European Fiesta for next production.
I am sure one of these Fiesta will have 1.6L engine.

But I am keen to see a figo-ish sedan like what they have in other countries. It would be a nice add.

Kind of

Putting of the pics of the chiller/thirsty A/C compressor. Really hits the fuel efficiency but I am happy since I don't have to sweat in this hot and humid weather like hyundai i20 customers (Weak Hyundai i20 air-conditioner. EDIT : Test results on pg. 4).
