First of all Kottayam is the name of a prominent district in Kerala.
I am also aware of the very few classic jags in Kerala and have already mentioned about it in my previous post.

The best thing about classic cars is that you never know what might be hiding just under your nose.

Happens all the time.....

From your words I assume that you know of some specific vintage Jaguar in Kerala other than the ones in Kochi and Trichur(KLR) .if so please reveal the details

It's a 1947 Buick 8 "Super" among many in India . Lovely job nevertheless and looks well restored. Is this in Cochin?

Cheers

Re: Classics of Travancore, Cochin and Malabar

Hey friends, Sorry for the wrong info and thanks for correcting. I was told that this car was bought through an auction from the Trivandrum Palace and took almost one year for restoration. The car is now with a used car dealer at Cochin.

With the second larger res image I think I can read "Roadmaster", and not Super. The 'dagmars' with lights I think are from a 51/52 model Buick.

I am unsure about the "Trivandrum Palace" part - it would most likely have had a Trivandrum registration (probably KLT-xxx) if that were true.
