This is a brief idea of the deal I got :

Ford Figo Diesel Exi

- Free Insurance
- Free Anti Rust underbody treatment
- Discount of Rs. 6000 under the ford UCM scheme which was on for 3 days only while I made the booking.
- A further adjustment/discount was offered for Rs. 5000 which I adjusted in getting a OEM music system installed

I added:

- Figo titanium Alloy Wheels - Approx. Rs. 15000
- OEM Music system - Approx. Rs. 15000 minus adjustment of Rs. 5000
- Body colored door handles and mirrors.
- 0% Depreciation on Insurance - around Rs. 4400
- Included Alloy Wheels and Music system in insurance - Rs. 1300

All this worked out to a total On-road price of 5.99 Lacs with a Delhi registration.

They are taking 21000/- as refundable deposit and quoting 30 days as delivery period. Price being quoted is between 6L to 7.5L.

The booking amount paid was Rs 10000 and the dealer said he will give first priority for delivery. But I am expecting the delivery atleast a month and half post the launch. As far as the price is concerned I am expecting the Top end varient to be a little below 8 lacs.

The dealer confirmed the that he would get 5 cars before 12th April. I hope, I get the delivery from the same lot and write the First ownership Review (Fingers Crossed)

Congrats bnzjon. You are following Satya's pattern? Linea.. Tjet..now XUV. Are you keeping the Tjet and are there any specific reasons to change you car? I was also enquiring about XUV in Feb. No discounts. The dilemma between XUV and Duster dragged my decision and in the meantime XUV became costlier by 40K. I am yet to make up my mind.

Hi Vivek, am a big fan of Sathya and it happened that we both have similar tastes for cars. I was smitten by the XUV from the day it was launched and had to wait this long to book (the niggles kept me away). In the process the price increased every six months. The nett price difference between Dec 2012 and April 2013 is almost 60K (considering cascading increase in registration, insurance etc).
