Navin ji, aap kab amrica jaane wale hain?? I just found this amp specs from crutchfield... for $99.99... Rockford ka hai...

The specs:

50 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
100 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms
200 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms
stereo or bridged mono output
4-ohm stable in bridged mode
Tri-way capable (Tri-Way Crossover required)
requires 10-gauge power and ground leads — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
120 Hz high-pass, 80 Hz low-pass crossovers (12 dB/octave)
MOSFET power supply and output devices
MEHSA mounting technology increases the heat transfer from the MOSFET output devices to the heat sink, for higher power output, lower operating temperatures, and greater reliability
TOPAZ — noise-killing differential inputs that eliminate 80% of ground loop noise
Trans•ana circuitry keeps preamp voltages low and signal paths simple for outstanding audio quality
NOMAD — advanced protection circuitry for "intelligent" shutdown protection
selectable Punch Bass (0/6/12 dB boost at 45 Hz)
speaker- and preamp-level inputs
10-1/8"W x 2-7/16"H x 9-7/8"D
1-year warranty

Is it good?? Can you get one for me ji? Phhhuuullleeezzzz.. Sastha hai...

Does this mean you don't favor monoblock amps?? I was living with the knowledge that monoblocks are simply 'Tha Bhest' for subs....

I kinda prefer to go with what sam said. Its sensible to buy a speaker from a manufacturer who only makes speakers. Similarly with HUs... Is there any brand which only makes amps?? Polk defines themselves as a speaker specialists... !!

Your favourite amps don't come in my fav prices...

Typical 2 Ohms Stereo 100W × 4
Switchable Bass Boost at 0dB/6dB/12dB
Adjustable 50Hz-250Hz, High-/Low-Pass Crossover
Bridgeable 4-/3-/2- Cannel Operation
Speaker Level Inputs

Specifications:
Continuous Power Output (20 ∼ 20,000 Hz, 4 .) 4 × 50 W
Max. Power Output 4 × 100 W

S/N Ratio at Min. Volume 80 dB

1. ok but not great. for the price they are passable. I'd do without them unless one likes the sizzle they provide.
2. Why does it make a difference what you are? I have no idea how many posts I got. 200? 400? I dont know? I'll only be able to check once i post this. evne then given my senility I will forget soon. Life is short.

50x4 read like our famous sony 504 esp since it's SN is only 80db. I am not happy with the S/N spec. and no i dont think i know this amp unless of course you got some specs mixed.

some of the specs seem wierd. 0.6A power consumtion is too low at full volume and 2 high when off. wonder what they mean. I would really like to know the model of this beast.

the only 50W x4 amp i am familiar with is the blaupunkt 450 so maybe I guess that you got specs to that amp. nah...blau would never make an amp with a SNof 80db!
