After extensive searching for the kind of sound in needed in the eyeballer, I have decided on a P1Y.

Silence for effect.

News of the day:

There were unconfirmed reports of a silver-coloured Zen speeding on MG Road on Monday night.
Police sources could not confirm identity of the driver. However, eye witnesss said the car, with flashing lights in the underbody, was speeding being driven by a slightly-built person, who is estimated to be in his early twenties. Police have sought the help of a group of fanatics who call themselves team-bhpians. This is expected to give vital clues.
No sound seemed to be emanating from the car though youngsters seem to be indulging in expensive audio equipment nowadays.

Hmm! Wonder who this is.

Sam even if it was free, a P1Y? Youknow you are never gonna live this down. Now the P1Y is a nice unit but Sam why not a an Alpine. Must be a good reason?

Yes Navin I can explain:

The Palio is a sheer SPL car. It requires extensive manual control and sheer dynamics. Not being a nuancy car, I tried both the Alpine and the Pio. I loved the way the system completely took off, with little or no setting using the pio. *shrug*
A man's gotta make his speakers sound nice. I would never put the Pio in the optra with the infinity. It would be sacrilege. But in the palio, all things said and the extreme nature of the sound... The p1Y was my best alternative.

I think you are referring to the Santro (the original topic of this thread)
Well that santro is an install of Entry level JBL products. The equipment cost is about 1.5 and the install is another 45k. So close to 2lacs.

If you are in the same town as some of the JBL cars, I may be able to let you have a drive.
Since I have not said no, you dont need to borrow any money
