iPhone OS 3.1 Brings Video Editing to the iPhone 3G, iPod Touch

Quote:
The latest iPhone firmware update enables video editing on the iPod touch and iPhone 3G, according to Gioga23.

iSpazio notes that all you have to do is save a movie from your email. Then you will be able to cut and edit it directly from the camera roll and exactly like you would on 3GS.

You can watch this new feature in action below...
iClarified - Apple News - iPhone OS 3.1 Brings Video Editing to the iPhone 3G, iPod Touch

Wifi reception has improved, rather gone back to the usual self. 3.0 had reduced the range, 3.1 seems to have fixed it.

i dont see any reason so far I would upgrade to 3.1....looks like 3.1 is just too slow . Though wifi is improved but if the phone itself is slow...whats the point..

Read these:

Absolutely no issue with speed or anything else, actually email and sms seem's to respond faster in my case. These are mostly cases where the upgrade was not done properly or some jail broke issue that is cropping up.

Sirji, once jailbroken residue will always be there (so it doesnt mean 3.1 has to be jailbroken). Pops up in the most awkward moment, so unless you are desperate, try avoiding it.

I have 99 apps and i have played with close to 30 since i loaded 3.1 and so far so good.

Got my iphone 3GS 16GB yesterday. There goes nearly 9 years of Windows Mobile loyalty.

Since I am new to iPhone, can't really compare it to older versions of the iPhone. Btw, typing and browsing was faster on the HTC Touch, thanks to T9 ezinput and Opera mini. On the rest of the features, iPhone OS 3.1 leaves the yet to be released Windows Mobile 6.5 far behind.

How much did you pay for it?

Once you get used to the keyboard of the iPhone, the tying will go really fast. Safari is one of the best mobile browsers!
Give your feedback about these two after a couple of weeks and i'm sure it will change.

AUD 879, which is about Rs 37,000, direct from Apple online store with free shipping.

Yes, but Opera mini page downloads are really fast, even on my old 2G HTC phone.

Yes.. guys are making a neat pile by walking into the Apple store or buying it at Apple online store and selling it on eBay for a hefty premium, mainly to US customers. Its seems Apple is selling these unlocked phones in a limited number of countries worldwide, hence the premium.

I know. Usually these phones touch the $900USD mark in ebay. AFAIK, no-contract or factory unlocked phones are available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Italy. Maybe a few more countries, but these are the major ones.
