Seem like there was a bug in Android 4.x.x and one need to modify playstore App DPI but that would not be possible for non-rooted users, so I am sure HDFC would come up with some other solution.

Already notified the Bank but they would need to re-produce the error to be able to fix it.

Are you sure the App you have is the Latest Version as its recently updated,
now has direct option to call customer care etc etc.
I am able to install the previous version but not the latest one.

Checked with a friend running it on 5 inch, his device also refuses to install.

The issue I am facing is with English version Only, Hindi Version gives Install prompt.

My defy is almost 2 years old now. So considering another phone.
Currently interested in Canvas HD for its specs. Any idea about ita launch dates? First week of Feb is not happening it seems.

Also any other good phone under 15k?
Should be dual sim, & 1gb RAM.

What about that X2 something quad core , full HD launch dates?

Canvas A116 is supposed to be released around 15Feb.
however the current model is very widely unavailable and is selling @ a premium of few thousand rupees.
A110 was 9800 earlier now its sold at 13.5K by many shopkeepers and on
ebay.in sellers, huge premium for a non premium phone

Umi X2 would be launched next week with Full HD display, Quad core and 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. Mostly it would be around 13K. If you are not too bothered about brand (As if MMX has a brand value) and after sales like MMX, its an awesome buy for sure.

oh okay. my friends running the samsung omnia and lumia 610/800 have never complained about lag - this is new. I am genuinely surprised.

If that is the case, then galaxy Y wonlee. Its the optimus one of 2012!

I tried out disabling Fast Dormancy on my Note 2 and guess what! The battery is on steroids now it seems. It drained only 5 percent in 3 hours which is almost half of what it used to do with full time sync on and 3G network. Never expected this much difference.

What is the source of this information ? The specs sound too good to be true.
