I am on a leaked stock German JB ROM for my Note (n-7000). It is much better than the paranoid Android custom JB ROM I was on prior to this. I know this is probably an exception as it's a first for me too after every one of the custom ROMs (Pre-JB) I tried used to better the stock ones. In this case I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.

Did you try Touchdown? It is the only robust app I've seen for interfacing with your Exchange/Outlook account. But it's a paid app.

The other option is in-built (native) mail app in Android. It has become a lot better since Froyo/GB days. You can choose to sync only contacts and de-select mails etc.

He is using Outlook client to access gmail only. So if he updates his contacts in his address book, he wants it to be synced with google server and his phone.

I think that should happen by default.

I am using this phone for almost 2 months now. The phone is super vfm. Quad core, ips display, 1 gb ram, 2150 mah battery etc. The battery life is also decent.

I would say that at 21k its an absolute bargain. Don't miss it.

Guys, which android phone, Main use is camera,whatsapp, music and bit of surfing. Budget near about 16-17k.

Need to gift someone and it has to be android. I am looking forward to Xperia Neo L, One V, Desire X.

Among them One V has best camera, Already have tested them and inclined towards One V.

Even i am using it too

Any more suggestion ?

P.S No xolo X900, To whom i want to gift, doesn't want one, Just because of lava name with it

Yes it should happen by default, unless sync is switched off in Account settings!

Nice comparison. But you missed out on one important point.

Nexus 4 has no warranty covered in India.where as LG 4X is with Indian warranty.

Even am surprised to find the latest stock 4.1.2 is smoother and faster than any custom ROMs available. I used to get 2 days battery life on moderate use where I used to hardly get max of 1.5 days even from stock ICS and custom ROMs from various bases. BTW am running with official Spain version with custom kernel on my AT&T SII. Even the leak version was butter smooth but the official version is totally different

I updated the music player on my stock Motorola Defy Plus after updates appeared on the Play store(Tunewiki update). Now, I have the following issues:
Music Player doesn't work from the car dock application.
FM player is gone. It prompts to download a separate FM player app.
Bluetooth audio streaming on my Figo has changed. Earlier, after selecting BTA as a source, I could start playing directly from the HU by pressing the Next track button. Now, I need to press Play on my Defy Plus for it to start playing. This is a big annoyance.

Can I revert back to the original stock FM player app? If so, is it a complex process? Please help!

Found an option under Settings > Applications > Music Player to uninstall updates. This seems to have reverted it back to its original state.

Hey Guys,

FInally updated my trusty Nokia E63 and have gone Android with the Samsung Galaxy S3, I am completly noob in terms of Android. Are there any pointers to consider for the optimum useage of the phone.

So far I am facing one issue, I have syncd the phone with my FB and Gmail account. Now the contact book shows Multiple names for different apps, meaning the: 1 for FB, 1 for Gmail, 1 for whatsapp and 1 for Phone numbers. I am unable to link these 4 together to show 1 name and all info in that. Need help in sorting this issue!
