Re: online news paper for tablets

on the android market , search for 'currents' ...it is a google offering and pretty good aggregation service. As with any google product , it is neat and clean in its navigation and the only downside is that the sources are predominantly foreign newpapers/agencies.

I also like Flipboard as news aggregator, it's simply amazing and really shows the potential of tablets as authenticated news readers. Despite all the news in the digital format hitting us left, right and centre, I still cant start my day without ogling at crispy morning edition along with a cup of steamy coffee
Well the most app on android market are optimized for phones and not for tab, well now i will try flipboard and see how it fares, i hope its available on android also.

Re: The Quintessential Tablet PC Thread (Android, Apple, BB et al)

Out of so many hardcore Tablet users here I was wondering if anyone has purchased or taken time to actually benchmark "Samsung Galaxy Tab P1010"
Its very attractively priced by Letsbuy at 14.5K

Do you think going with samsung would be better than falling for those 9-10K budget but chinese tablets flooded on internet ?

I own 3 tablets, Motorola Xoom , BB Playbook and one Chinese made ( bought for 70 usd) out of the 3 , I love the playbook the most and my honest opinion is that , don't spend money on the chinese tablets ...its a waste of money.

I had considered the Samsung one and in fact ordered to cancel it later mainly because I didnt like the design , but that was almost an year back.

Re: The Quintessential Tablet PC Thread (Android, Apple, BB et al)

What is the Best prices to Pay for 7" Smartphone Tablet?
I am getting a good deal on Samsung galaxy Tab Plus 7.0 (GT-P6200) for 23,400/- Is this price justified for its technical spec?

Technical Spec of Galaxy Tab Plus 7.0

I wanted a device to be used as a cellphone cum net book which will be connected all the time to Internet with GPRS/EDGE.

Guys, who upgraded their Playbook's to OS2.0 , feedback please.
Have they been able to download the complimentary games Asphalt 6(516MB) and Modern Combat(400 MB) ?
Atlast they improved the keyboard and added word prediction, much needed!!

I read somewhere that with the introduction of OS2.0 BB Playbook can work independently without the need to connect the BB phone. can you please shed some light on this. How would i connect to my email interface on BB Play book? does it have a SIM slot?

50K is insane for a less than perfect tablet. Asus is still having issues with wifi stability so I will never pay this kind of money.

I saw wait a bit other Tegra 3 models to launch and the prices will fall in line.
