The VX CVT gets the same feature set as VX MT.
Infact Honda has fixed quite a few things in the mid 2018 refresh which they skipped in the 2015 launch.

Keyless entry & go
Driver's armrest
Cruise control
Dedicated central lock / unlock button,
Start/stop button
Better touchscreen AVN unit
Dual USB in the central console
Multiview reverse camera in VX
Driver side vanity mirror
Parking sensors

But the feature set still cannot be termed as 'fully loaded' as it lacks:

The USP in form of Magic Seats
DRL
ISOFIX
Reach adjustable steering
Rear seat adjustable headrests
Height adjustable front seatbelts
Cooled glovebox
Automatic wipers
Automatic headlamps / projectors / LED / HID / cornering lamps
Side + Curtain airbags
ESP + TCS
Electrochromic (Auto dimming) IRVM
Missing OEM mudflaps on a top trim car

The i20 Asta (O) gets quite a few features from the above list, and it is closer to the 'fully loaded' definition than the Jazz VX.

2 major reasons I chose the Jazz over i20 is because the Jazz is narrower at 1695 mm (I have parking space constraints at my house) and that the i20 was not available in Asta(O) when I bought the car (Jazz VX scored over i20 Asta IMO).

Average I get in city (mine is 70-30 city highway daily commute) is about 13-13.5 kmpl, with the auto AC always on at 26 C. Also I almost never shut the engine if it isn't a particularly big standstill traffic jam / signal, and most of the blockages are creeping traffic so there's no scope for shutting the engine either.

Is it possible they launched it in 2019? Even the reviews mention CVT being limited to Magna and Asta.

Have you considered the Hyundai Creta.
Petrol Sx At is a competent car. With a stretch of 1 lakh more, the high driving position, quality interiors, light steering fits the requirements for most women drivers.

Yes in early January 2019 - details in this thread https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/india...-features.html (Rumour: Hyundai updates Elite i20 line up with new features)

Seriously. I don't want to have a sales dud in my garage and seems hatchback is best suited for her.

Thanks. Not in a hurry I can wait for 2-3 months. Need to plan a test drive of i20 to check how good the CVT performs in actual.

It seems i20 is a better option here. I expect all bells and whistles in a 10L hatchback.

Not a big fan of Creta and picking up it against Ecosport is not justified IMHO. I think better to settle for i20 and save 6 lakh considering the top end i20 at 10L vs 16L for Creta.

BTW it is strange no one advocated for Polo TSI. I thought I will get the maximum up-votes for it from our enthusiast brigade.

I have a 2015 Jetta which is basically an A4; why pay a premium for something like the A3?

I guess most GT TSI owners are offended that you would include it in that list. Just kidding! As an owner of a pre-worshipped 2015 GT TSI since July 2018, I definitely recommend it. As far as A.S.S. goes, you will find horror stories by customers of all the major names if you look hard enough. Find yourself a good workshop and a good advisor while within warranty and a good FNG later, and your troubles are sorted.

The car is extremely mod-friendly and has a lot of remap options available. Put some good tires on her and maybe a suspension upgrade too, and she will put a smile on your face when you feather the throttle and a huge grin when you bury it in the floor.

Good luck.

Thanks for shortlist, will test drive. But Which one of these stands out the most. Won't consider the polo tho.

Polo will get my vote for the best interior quality, best built quality and a powerful engine transmission combo.

After that I would prefer the Jazz. It is very spacious all around, decent interiors and a tried and tested CVT, which though is best suited for sedate driving.
But then you need to try them and see which car makes the most sense to you.

BTW why wouldn't you consider the Polo? Due to lack of rear space or DSG's unreliability?

Hi!
With your budget and requirements, one of them focusing on only popular cars, you can look for the following cars:

1.Swift: Good, FTD overall package, top spec automatic will easily fit in your budget. The negatives are AMT and not so upmarket (although sporty) interiors.
2. Baleno: basically a bigger and more feature rich swift but the interior quality and new looks are not much great.
3. I20: The strongest contender IMO, high quality interiors, smooth CVT, feature loaded.
4. Amaze/ Jazz: I would prefer the Amaze than the jazz since it is a more successful product and a new generation car.
5. EcoSport: If you want to consider a CSUV then you can give Trend+ a look.

Happy Shopping

Cheers!
