Nice titles - 'Power Gamers' & 'Power Tamers'.

The vehicle pictured on the previous page and the one on the advt are not the same. This might have just been used for reference or maybe the other way around.

I do hope Force brings in a game changer here.

They are saying "Upper mid-segment" so pricing will be high for sure.

Its not necessary that they use an actual picture in their recruitment drive.

The inside scoop is that this picture was picked by the HR Department. The engineering department at Force Motors is still trying to figure out why there is such a large bulb inside the headlight assembly.

Poor Force Motors and its engineering team., ofcourse this only proves they are not the ones who designed the headlamps on their new SUV.

I saw this vehicle in cloaks being driven on the Mumbai-Pune by-pass road. The vehicle looked very Tata-ish, though I'm not entirely sure. It was a Diesel (by the smoke) and the driver took off as soon as he saw me clicking pics. The acceleration was fantastic for a vehicle of this size and I had to push hard to keep up with him. At one point, he almost touched 140+ km/h to lose me.

Any idea which one this could be?

Mods: I checked around but could not find a similar topic. If there turns out to be a replication, please feel free to delete this thread.

It seems to be the new Force SUV....

But check its wheel..seems Mahindra New world SUV...Not sure though.

Anyway..its looks big as a Endy or Fortuner.

I spotted the same today, while i was returning from Pune. (Sorry could not click pictures.) Looked pretty good. But its definitely not the mahindra world suv.
If it is from Force Motors, it is a great step forward for them.

In a recent interview to one of the newest car magazine around, the Firodia scion mentioned that the car would indeed be 220 bhp and brushed aside chinese connection, most of the work being done in house as per him

We are already 2nd month of 2011, any further news on the launc. There seems to be no further activity after the recruitment ad.

Feel that the title of the thread should be modified to "to be launched in 2011"

I dont think Firodia knows what hes talking about or is an amazing liar. First its quite obvious that this car ia based on some Ching Chong SUV kit from China, perhaps Firodia should go through this thread and realise this himself. Maybe the R&D department has tricked him.

Nor will this chinese kit take a 220 bhp diesel engine, If it churns out 220bhp imagine the torque it generates. Rev the engine and it would take off from the engine bay leaving the chinese body behind. A Diesel V6 Touareg pumps 236 bhp and perhaps a bit lesser if fed 'Premium Indian' diesel. Imagine Force making a diesel engine of similar specs.

Price it cheap as a bargain SUV for folks who simply want size and appearance, Force might have a case here. Call and price it as a premium SUV, well Firodia can perhaps lie to himself what a wonderful sales success the Force Ching Dong SUV has been!!!!
