Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() It certainly looks like having a longer tail section. Probably increased bootspace and/or micro increment of legroom across all the rows. |

| ![]() On the new model Scorpio. As an engineer and an automobile aficionado, I have held the belief, that a well-designed people-mover should accommodate in comfort, at least five adults who are all over six feet tall each with well-fed stomachs and also accommodate their luggage. I say people-mover and not 4x4 SUV because that requires high engineering standards as well. At first look at the Scorpio eleven years ago, when it was new, my first feel was that the windows in the front doors were the world's smallest, in the whole world of SUVs. That remained unchanged for eleven years, to date. Mahindra Scorpio's front seat and door were only comfortable for dwarfs and malnourished adults. Hope they have changed that. |

Look closely and you can see that the face is weirdly clean and clear in the photo as compared to the rest of the body and the vehicle as a whole. Alos notice the bumpers at the bottom in front of the wheels, looks like the photoshop guy ran out of patience and quickly wind up his pet project. | ![]() Spotted this test mule yesterday on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The car zoomed past us, then stopped ahead after a few kilometers and then zoomed off again. Pic taken with a Nokia X2-00. ![]() OT: I was in a 1st gen Scorpio, my first time, and really disliked its ride and build quality. I wouldn't want to sit in one again. | ![]() One thing caught my eye. A test mule with an emmision test in one of the spy pics in previous pages. Why would a facelift vehicle need emmision test? Am i missing something here? |

Though not the best in class, the current generation M-Hawk Scorpios ride way better than the one you are talking about. Expect even a better ride-handling combo in the 2014 facelift.

| ![]() Latest spypics, including those of the interiors of the M&M Scorpio (courtesy Cartoq - http://www.cartoq.com/cartoq-exclusi...s-new-details/): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This on is the top end with steering mounted controls. I see following new features on the Scorpio: 1. XUV inspired/ lifted steering wheel & interiors 2. Squarish AC vents (as has been already discussed) 3. Double barrel smoked headlights 4. Revised rear roof mounted spoiler 5. The rear lights cluster seems redesigned (though it may be only because of the cladding) 6. Tyres appear to be fatter (though this may not be the case) 7. The overall profile appears more squarish/ flatter to me Last edited by CARDEEP : 27th December 2013 at 11:34. |

| ![]() This looks promising, especially the interiors. But why does Mahindra always have to put that awful brownish/beige trim on their steering wheels as well as on vast expanses of the dashboard is beyond me. |

Hate that colour on Mahindras' interiors. Makes it all the more cardboard-ish and scratchy. Even if QC sucks, The Safari Storme's interiors feel a lot better even though it too is brown and beige. BTW, the Scorpio looks like it will resemble a Dodge Durango from the front.
