Seems like there is a slight extension in the length of the body, unsure if this is discussed earlier or has gone unnoticed, but the rear overhang certainly seems longer

When coming back in the same road, this one just drove past us towards the plant. Overall, there is nothing so different apart from a new headlamp and grille and the front fender. It might be an optical illusion considering the second pic is not exactly bang on side profile, more towards a quarter panel view.

But what Is visibly noticeable is the gap between the wheel arches and the tires have reduced considerably. Maybe it's a new suspension setup which makes the car sit lower than before.

Nope it is not a optical elusion, space between rear door and c pillar is noticeably larger and not an optical elusion. So is the space between last window and c pillar end. Another 5 odd cm has been added to the rear overhang of this car

Could well be fully loaded with sandbags etc to simulate a full load of passengers. But let us hope for the best!

You guys can be very right..! Let's just hope for the best. I have been procrastinating my decision between the Scorpio and Storme for a while now with their elusive and rumoured enhancements.

I was going through a few videos when I found Hormazd take on the new Scorpio, below is the link to the video substantiating our 'hope'

Thanks a lot buddy. Infact it's just something I am obsessive about - doing a lot of research before deciding on my purchases.

Wait till 0:35, when the interiors are shown in detail. Somehow I am a bit put off looking at the middle row space. Not that it's great now, but seems it's going to be a squeeze.

PS: also if we notice the rear door glass sil, ORVMs and close to the door beading (when opened), it seems a new color is going to be introduced - a chocolate brown shade. Have to imagine it will look terrific with the double barrel headlights!

A few more pics of a test mule published less than a day ago. Looks like the test cars now more or less have complete panels and components of the facelift.

I think the lowered clearance illusion may now be because of the wider track. It sure does seem to have a wider track (i could be completely wrong though), unless it has thinner panels or just clever design.

This looks really promising! I wish for an all black interior option with no fancy decals on the exterior. That will be a perfect upgrade for my 2005 CRDe, provided no insane price hike. Eagerly waiting for a test drive.

Looks much better than the older versions (I have a 2007 VLX), would be in good time to start thinking about replacement by early next year, hopefully by then the initial niggles would have been sorted out .

IMHO M&M should drop the pretense of the scorpio being a seven seater and just make it a five seater. that way they will be able to push the rear seat back by a few inches and liberate a lot of leg room while also having decent luggage room.
