This thread is over 2 years old. Is M&M really serious about launching it? Or, is this a hoax of the century? A glacier moves at a faster pace than things at M&M. And all this for just a face-lift?

Here are some more pictures. The image clearly shows that it's getting projector headlights. Lot of features carried over from the XUV is expected in this.

Dont know about others, but I am really tired of seeing these same images again and again now. This is a perennial problem of M&M ( & Tata as well). They will keep testing and testing(even when there is no mechanical change in the vehicle) & finally when the product is released its already outdated. Worst thing is that even with so much of testing they will never be able to rectify all problems & the actual issues will only be highlighted by the first batch of buyers.

For heavens' sake M&M, launch the vehicle. I'm tired, too, of seeing this testing over and over and over again. And the worst thing is, there is no word yet on when they plan to launch. Not even an expected month of launch. And each passing month is adding Dusters/Ecosports by thousands and here is M&M sitting pretty with this test vehicle.

I read on autocar that this scorpio will be a diwali/dusshera launch arounf the sept-oct timeframe.

Looking forward to the launch. Chances are, if with the current structure of the Scorpio, they can integrate the the head lamps & grills of the XUV, then M&M can have the Scorpio reborn.

Grill will be similar to the old scorpio but with a slight change. It will be new refreshed headlights with projectors. I think the basic shape will be similar to the outgoing model but the small exterior changes will give a refreshing look. The highlight should be the interiors with a new look and hopefully some new features as seen in the XUV.

Agreed on the grill bit, I meant rather than the broad grill lines of Scorpio, they will take a leaner route of the XUV.

On the interior bit, the one thing I am looking forward to is them tweaking the dimensions. Since the body structure looks identical to the old Scorpio, they might now have additional space to play around with. Hopefully, the can make the Scorpio more roomy since that was my only dislike of the interiors of Scorpio.

The steering wheel looks similar to the one found on the XUV500 and has a flattish horn pad with steering mounted buttons. The dials appear to be small with a blue back light and the new digital MID looks futuristic. It seems to be equipped with tyre pressure monitoring system and a differential lock. The electronic mirror control is placed at the bottom right of the dashboard beside the headlight adjustment knob and buttons for the fuel lid opener and defogger.

Chrome touches around the air-con vents look good and all the vents are rectangular rather than round like the outgoing version. Even the ugly wood trim seems to have been replaced by piano black finishing on the centre console. What is noteworthy is that the power window switches have been moved to the door providing better ergonomics. All the buttons seem to be of XL size, befitting the SUVs butch character. Even the rear air-con vent console is re-designed.

As of now, the interior looks better than the current gen. Hope it remains the same even after the launch.

I would never call that an upgrade!. You could get all those exterior changes right in a Acc shop (AFAICS).

Interiors are best not talked about. Those A/c vents look totally out of place

Looks like the power window controls seem to have moved onto the door pads, where they should have been initially.

I liked what i am seeing. I did not like the XUV interiors. But this one looks nice. Plain and simple and has a definite uniqueness to it. Can be considered if they tune the suspension too.
