The Scorpio's front looks like of more muscular and rectangular headlights. I was hoping for a new mechanicals at least and some refreshed change to its overall profile.

Anyway, some one posted this sketch on FB.

I saw the same in the Chennai, just at the city outskirts towards Bangalore as I was about to hit away from city limits. Looked pretty much like the new Scorp. But overall did not look like a major change externally.

Found this test mule in Nashik, right in front of the M&M factory road. In fact there were three of them, and they were on the opposite side of the road when we passed by and I missed them. When coming back in the same road, this one just drove past us towards the plant. Overall, there is nothing so different apart from a new headlamp and grille and the front fender. There was a reddish coloured one which did look good.

The Scorp looks like its sitting better on the road, as compared to the present one that looks like its floating in the air.

saw the new scorpio on test today. seems like major redesign work done at front and rear. the headlamps and taillights are more squarish now. the taillight was resembling to the current Range rover vogue taillight, with nicely designed LED light inside. looks like the Christmastree taillight has gone. not sure about it though. Inside i saw a big touchscreen system and a climate control AC unit.

Post # 242. First Picture! The car on the left of the Scorpio also has a Red Numberplate signifying it is a pre-production test variant. Can anyone confirm what that car is? Logic says Mahindra Rexton. Eyes say Koleos!

I had the same doubt which I mentioned in the post #131. Looks like the suspension travel has been reduced, maybe to get rid of the bumpiness to some extent and improve the handling.

It's been nearly two years since this thread was started and yet no sign of new Scorpio. All we see is camouflaged cars on test run. Speaking of which, is Mahindra out to create a new world record in testing a vehicle pre-launch? Come on, it's not an all-new car. Just a face-lift? How much more test-runs do they need?

So we have a Scorpio under going tests for a face lift and an engine upgrade along with the Storme under going the similar tests for an engine upgrade.

Lets see which vehicle turns out to be the better of the two.

I'll place my bet on the Scorpio mainly due to the fact that the Storme needs to go on a lean diet, to do justice to an engine upgrade.
