First day I didn't like it at all. But after viewing it from different angles and especially after seeing it in white, I feel it looks better than both the new Pajero and the new Endeavor. I hope its rides well this time and provides more room in the rear seat.

As per some Paultan's blog, the 2016 Toyota Fortuner will have an impressive standard equipment list

"We also get a look at the equipment list – surprisingly, the standard kit list is vast and includes 18-inch wheels, keyless entry, push-button start, three airbags (including one for the driver’s knee), VSC (!), traction control and hill-start assist. Only a powered tailgate and side and curtain airbags (raising the count to seven airbags) are reserved for the V variants."

Led tail lamps look good too.

This time,Toyota seems to get all their moves right.

Going by the looks of Fortuner, I don't expect a price hike of anything less than 4 lakh from the present models.

And why should Toyota bother when they are able to maintain a three month waiting period on fortuner till date irrespective of many price hikes.

The window lines reseble those of Honda Odyssey and the Hyundaish tail lights and headlights do not really suit the otherwise butch SUV . Even the fog lamp housing is weird .

The 2016 Toyota Fortuner will be offered in six colours - White Pearl, Silver, Gray, Attitude Black, Nebula Blue & Phantom Brown.

Projector headlamps are standard across the range.

The headlight clusters feature Corolla-inspired LED daytime position lights and Bi-Beam LED main lights on the top-end variant. The lower variant gets Bi-projector beams. The rear clusters sport LED light guides for the brake lights. As reported earlier, the 2016 Fortuner will get 18-inch diamond-cut alloy rims, shod with 265/60 rubber. Also seen in these images is the upmarket key fob of the new Fortuner which gets a button for opening the bootlid, hinting that the SUV sports an electric tailgate. A smart entry system with an engine starter button is confirmed, at least on the top-end variant.

Well I doubt they will target OTR 40L. No matter how good they have made the Fortuner, they cannot or if I can say should not venture into Q3 territory.

I guess this can be 35-36.5L for India. Anything more then that it would stretch into over-priced category but I guess people may crib about that but still buy it!
