Looks like my search for an upgrade from 2010 Punto is ending here. I'm only interested in manual so going for GT variant. Need to check the price difference between GTX and GTX+ and since I'm not bothered about any other features than BOSE speakers, I might settle for GTX( if price difference is too much). I am planning to pre-book once it opens. There are new showrooms coming up very close to my home as well as office

I also hope ride/handling/suspension/steering everything are on par with what enthusiasts wants.

Only eye-sore by looking at the picture is the horizontal LED strips on the front bumper. Other than that, as of now every tick box is selected for me.

Can you help me with the locations where showrooms in Bangalore are coming up? I have been reading about one in ORR near Kadubeesanahalli but havent managed to spot it as yet !

Other show rooms which I saw are near the Singasandra, on the left side while driving towards E-City , one near 24th Cross JP Nagar, and one more in front of Urvashi theater.

The one near Urvashi Theater seems to be owned by Advaith, who is also a dealer for Hyundai. The signage is up on this showroom but it is not as spacious as the hyundai ones in the city.

Taking it with a pinch of salt, I have confirmation from a Kia rep known to me that GTX+ variant is coming in DCT and also, an auto journalist friend of mine confirming today morning that GTX+ variant would surely get DCT. Both of them have seen the car.

Saw a black Kia car today near Hebbal on the outer ring road without any camouflage and without any badging except the KIA symbol at the front. The car looked more like a bigger and beefier version of XUV300. Also, the licence plate had temp KA registration. Unfortunately, whoever was driving that car, was in a big hurry and I couldn't take a pic as I was driving. Hence wondering if what I saw was Seltos or some other car from KIA? Can someone confirm please?

Probably this is the car you saw. The same black car had been spotted earlier.

This doesn't seem the GT version, no red lines or red wheel cap. Maybe the alloy is an option between two designs.

Rumour: Kia Seltos bookings to open on July 15, 2019

According to a media report, Kia is likely to start accepting bookings for the Seltos from July 15, 2019. The car could be launched on August 22 and test drive vehicles are expected to arrive at dealerships by early next month.

According to a leaked document, the Seltos is expected to be offered in 3 petrol and 5 diesel variants. It is likely to get LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights, an LED light bar, LED fog lamps, a shark fin antenna and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The SUV is expected to come equipped with mood lighting with sound effects, cruise control, an engine start/stop button, rear sunshade, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO Connect features, wireless charging, leather-wrapped steering wheel and reclining rear seats among others.

The Kia Seltos is expected to be offered with three BS-VI compliant engine options. These include a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or CVT, a 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol unit mated to 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmissions.
