Here's the new logo.
The call it the Twin Peaks logo, exclusive for Mahindra's SUV range.

It looks elegant and has a batman vibe to it. It will suit the aggressive looks that M&M vehicles usually carry.

It was supposed to launch in 2020, which was then postponed to Feb 2021, and then August 2021(as per reports). Now indefinite.
Hope someone will teach Mahindra that they need to fix it. I Can't see any chip shortage in Hyundai, Maruti, Honda, and Toyota. Even Kia is doing great.
All the chip shortage crises are with Mahindra only. Point to note here is that the music system provided in Mahindra is far cheap quality than all other brands(specially XUV500).
You will feel like you are listening to 1960's radio receiver, inside the bus.

The Chip Shortage is there for real.

Maruti Suzuki has had to cut down on production last month & this month due to the shortage.

Hyundai removed the SX variant to mitigate the same.

Though it looks good on paper (screen?) I doubt it will look as good as a logo, it is afterall almost silver in colour, and given how much chrome Mahindra puts on its car, it will most probably be lost in the clutter.

This article says "A full first drive review of the new XUV700 will be up on our website sometime next week".

Is that means some are already test driving the vehicles for media coverage? Can we expect a review from Team-BHP soon?

I think so. One of the articles I read this morning (sorry, can't find the link) mentioned that the current "Road Ahead" logo will continue on the commercial vehicles and farm equipment, so I guess the rest will get the new logo.

Faisal Khan replied to one of the comment on YouTube video stating that he will be driving XUV7OO this week, so we can expect initial impressions/reviews from multiple reviewers on 15 Aug.

Well this is close to form for Mahindra. The logo is quite similar to Maruti’s. Looks like Mahindra picked yet another leading company to emulate.

The logo intro film seems a bit meh. It plays up the M part which I’m not sure why any prospective customer should be bothered about. If I were them, would have played around with the X in the middle of that logo and weaved in the XUV branding. It’s a story waiting to be told.
