Lol, you missed out the Alcazar which is the mother of all abominations IMO.

My god! Car’s an absolute looker & I loved the rear 3 quarter view. Man so smashing the appearance atleast from the rear and side. As for the front, I am still not too convinced to like it yet but a neat one at that.

Any word on safety ratings this car gets? How is the build quality from first impression?

Interior, no complaints at all as it would certainly please anyone who loves contemporary designs.

re: 4th-Gen Hyundai Tucson spotted testing in India. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 27.70 lakh

Pricing is the key but I have no hopes this time, when the first one was about to launch, it was not just in our shortlist but it was THE CAR we were supposed to upgrade to from Cruze, Creta mid variant Diesel costed 14.5 on road then and we were ready to shell out 20 to 22 for this one but then the announced pricing of 26 or so for the Diesel genuinely is the biggest disappointment I've ever had for any car, it was totally unjustified then and ruined our plans big way and had to downgrade to Creta.

This one seems like a much better car, if they somehow price it right and if the stars allign and I'am able to and willing to buy at that price it would make a great addition to our garage. But then the Diesel is the one to get but the NGT in NCR!

Looks are very subjective, but I find the previous gen looks to be much cleaner.

Rear lamps in the latest gen evoke the feeling of devils canines below a slightly open mouth. But it could be a happy grinning tiger too. Hard to unlearn for me.

Somehow the previous gen looks more classic and hopefully age well.

Tucson is love and hate at same time. Some elements are catchy, others make it look like a Frankenstein's monster with patch work done all over!

The front design of 4th Gen Tucson resembles MG Hector's if looked at side by side! You decide >>

Won't go as far as comparing the design to devil's teeth but I do agree, previous gen had bit more appeal to it. Though looking at the current competition it was looking dated.

Somehow the previous generation looks classy and clean design-wise. The newer one is no doubt futuristic but there are too many cuts and edges. Maybe I am getting old.

Just thinking ahead - getting these panels repaired/ painted incase of any dent, is not going to be an easy task with all cuts . Hyundai has ensured we depend on them only for all body work/ painting.

In pictures, somehow the car does not look as big compared to earlier generation inspite of LWB variant. It'll be interesting to see this comparison in person. As rightly said, one more day to go.
