Indeed, for the price I paid, it is unbelievably good. I don't want to sound like a fanboy but my Z4 has no snags or niggles. Everything works flawlessly, complete with every features promised.
I think the Z8L's still haven't got Apple CarPlay. But Z4s come with everything working.

Prospective owners, just pray that M&M don't silently delete features while also hiking the prices steadily.

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

Booked on 7th March 2023 - Z8L 4WD AT in Deep Forest
The confirmation letter from the dealership said delivery date to be 26th Jan 2024 or before

Issue is, there is a lot of ambiguity surrounding delivery dates, as evident from the forum itself. Now I know that Z8L D/P AT so far have the best response in terms of delivery time.
What I want to know is that how adding 4WD to the mix adds up or reduces the delivery time.

That aside, I do not want to take delivery in the next 3-4 months at least as the financial planning will get thrown out the window. I'd be happy waiting but it needs to be between August and Jan.

Did I put myself into a fix or is delay is guaranteed for my configuration?

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

My Z8 booking moved yet again!
First, it was Feb-Mar 2023 then Mar-Apr 2023, and now it's moved to May-Jun 2023.

I have lost hope of getting a Z8 variant anytime soon and inclining to go for the Z8L paying 3.4L additional for just 3 features (powered seats, front camera, and +4 speakers). Please correct me if I would get anything more than these 3 features with the L variant which demands a 3.4L premium.

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

Got a message today from the showroom from where I have booked my car. The CPD has moved from 2nd April to 21st April.

This is for Z8 D AT.

At least they have started some correspondence even if it is to state delay

Driver drowsiness detection, front parking sensors and front camera in general.
If you have booked Z8 MT then apart from those we get alloy wheels and for Z8 AT it will be wireless charging.
But whether these justify the premium to be paid is a question which many are pondering upon.

IMO, the feature difference doesn't justify the premium of 3.4L (onroad Bangalore)

Dealer is playing games. You may have booked a popular colour which dealer has passed on to others for favours. Mahindra booking is a cheap show.

I also have the same feeling. I have booked a Z8 D MT 4X4 on the first day, although not price protected. The tracking detail shows a time line of Oct-Nov 2023. The SA is telling that he has Z8L in the same configuration available. But I still find it difficult to accept the justification for the premium against what the Z8L offers in return.

We have already seen one price rise and we can expect one more 6 months down the line. Moreover if somebody wants to upgrade to alloy wheels then the difference narrows down. I think we have to do some arithmetic before taking a call on upgrading to Z8 L for a quicker delivery.
But in the current state it does not justify the premium IMHO.

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

When I am trying to see my booking in auto.mahindra.com, I am getting this message:
What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?-screenshot_20230312_081355_chrome.jpg

Is this same for all of us who have Scorpio N booking?

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

Are you hearing anything from the dealers that took your booking? I have had one conversation with the sales rep in the last 8 months. And now he is not taking calls. I had heard about lousy buying journeys with M&M before, but this just proves it.

To Cancel or Not to Cancel....

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

Here is an interesting artical related to BS6 transition to stage-2 and what happens to the vehicles manufactured till March 2023. Well, they say that the vehicles manufactured before April 2023 can be still sold but should not be manufactured until it is transitioned to BS6 stage2.

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

The booking details for Scorpio N has disappeared from “my booking” link after we log in into the user page. Although I am able to see the details of the booking of XUV7OO.
Are we all experiencing this for our Scorpio N bookings?
I hope that the delivery schedule is not further postponed.
