Mine has been moved from Mar'23-Apr'23 to May'23 for Z8 D AT 4*4

Since my booking was not price protected and the delivery was nowhere in near sight (for 2024 date as per Mahindra's website), the excitement to own the new Scorpio died down.

Hence cancelled the booking and postponed the plan for a new car (not that I needed a new car at this juncture).

Mine is the same variant, dates were already pushed to Apr-May 23 during last server shutdown they took in December.

Here is a quick update. The tracking is live again and delivery date of my vehicle is showing as same i.e 22nd April- 23rd May. Plus it is now showing Z6 D MT BS6.2.

Similar with my booking also nice to see the BS6.2
My date is 30april- 30may Z6 D MT.

Same with me. Booking updated to show BS6.2 but month now showing as April end-May beginning. Earlier it was Mar-Apr.

But the updated date was already shared by dealer so no surprises for me.

Some videos available on youtube showing Z8 variant in some yard. looks to be a 4X4 automatic.

visited my sales guy this sunday and he also said some variants of Z8 have been produced by Mahindra, they have started manufacturing Z6 and Z8 parallely now.

looks like Z8 D 4X4 AT has some priority.

It seems that all Z6 variants postponed from March-April to April-May all across the dealerships. Once again M&M proved that they cannot fulfill the commitment once made. Mahindra is trying their best to ruin the car buying experience of many SUV enthusiasts

My excitement about owning one vanished long ago. Despite booking Z4 D MT on minute one of the launch, I have no clue when my Scorpio-N will be delivered.

Notice that Mahindra has already missed 4 delivery dates

1. Dec - Jan - Missed
2. Jan - Feb - Missed
3. Feb - Mar - Missed
4. Mar - April - Missed
5. 15 May to 22 May - New deadline

I wrote an email to customer care of Mahindra and the dealership. I do get prompt responses from both of them but they reiterate the date mentioned in the system, but no one is able to clarify the reason for delays and a solid delivery date.

The dealership tells me that if I can switch my booking to Z8L or change my preference to Petrol Z4 Forest Green, he can deliver to me right now. (I have booked Z4 MT D White). He also told me that the maximum supply from the company is for the Z8L variant and so far they have not received any variant of Z6. I can't switch to petrol or upgrade the variant.

I want to understand what can I do to expedite my delivery. Whom should I approach? What are my legal options?

As the delivery dates are nearing, the tracking function disappears again today.
Not sure about the vehicle but the prospective customers need to be rugged and take all this abuse.
