Odo : 2943 kms
FE: 15.25 kmpl
Usage: 99% City (Bangalore traffic) , 75% AC
Measurement: Tankful to Tankful.

This is the mileage I got after a recent drive from Pondicherry to my home near Palakkad. A/C was on all the time. Three peolple and around 30kg luggage were on board. Cruise control was set between 100 and 110 kph for more than 50% of the time. Took 7:30 hours to cover the distance. The car is a 2014 Honda City petrol. Even with an error of 10%, its pretty amazing for a petrol.

Using the cruise control on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway resulted into this.

Its the Honda City iVtec 2012 which was loaded with four passengers(3+1) and luggage. What must have aided this FE is that there was very little traffic, so a uniform speed was maintained throughout. The Odometer stands at 55000 kms.

Honda Jazz V variant iDtec, 22788km travelled, bought in April 2016. Giving me consistent milage around 20-21 with 100%AC on in Kolkata, with 75% city driving. In love with this engine already 😀, iDtec rocks! Here's the screenshot taken from my HondaConnect app, tankful to tankful method.

Getting a nice FE now a days which constantly above 21kmpl for every full tank of diesel.

Distance covered: 110 kms everyday
Driving Pattern: 45:65 <=> City:Highway
Range I get for every Full tank: 695 - 705 kms

I use 30ml of System-D for every alternate full tank.

My gypsy gives me 9.8 in city and 11.5 in highway.. a bit low for a daily use vehicle but for the joy it gives me... perfect

Here are the mileage and other details of my 3 cars which I use alternatively.

Route & Driving Condition: Gurgaon - Delhi - Gurgaon daily home to office commute with 100% AC usage and 50% highway and 50% bumper to bumper traffic.

Vehicle: Ritz VDi 2011 model

Current ODO Reading - 93K KMS

Measurement - Tankful method

Mileage - 17 kmpl

Vehicle: Celerio VXi 2014 model

Current ODO Reading - 22K KMS

Measurement - Tankful method

Mileage - 16 kmpl

Vehicle: Vitara Brezza ZDi+ 2016 model

Current ODO Reading - 4.5K KMS

Measurement - Tankful method

Mileage - 17.5 kmpl

Right now, my Swift Zxi gives me a mileage of over 21.5 per litre on the highway runs - tested during a recent Bangalore to Wayanad trip - the MID showed 22 kmpl

In the city of course its around 15 kmpl but I dont run the car in the city much.

Very happy with the frugal yet fun nature of the car and the engine, really happy. The car is just 5k km old and the recent readings are just after a service.
