BHPian ![]() | ![]() Hi 2000rpm, Uneet & Sarathlal, Thanks so much for your valuable inputs. I guess it would be best to steer clear of a Civic with the roads getting worse by the day in Bombay and the highways. Have any of you guys tried fitting the "RogerAB" suspension spacers and did it make any difference to the "bottoming out" issue with 4 people on board. What sort of "average" were you getting in the city with A.C. on? Regards, SS |

With 4-5 PPL, the adjuster will prevent bottoming (i.e. Suspension coils banging against each other) but not prevent under belly scraping. The Civic can easily handle the plug and play type of breakers (found in the mall, nailed to the ground with screws) but the BMC manufactured ones are difficult to navigate. I got 8-10 in the city with the manual. the max I ever clocked was 13 on the highway. (Mumbai to Pune, including city traffic) If you want a highway car only, you can consider the civic. A civic should not be a primary car in my view. It is an enthusiasts car and will remain one.

Without any spacers, mine has never bottomed out. The major issue that I face is underbody scraping. As 2000rpm had quoted, this too occurs mainly on horrendously placed bumps. Regardless, Civic requires your attention, but you will enjoy its driving pleasure ![]() On city drive, the average is 9.5 kmpl, and on highway runs, its between 13-17 kmpl Rightly said!

| ![]() Guys, Seeking inputs for the below two cars in my network. How much should the two cars below fetch. 2013 Wagon R VXI - 120000 kms run. Great condition, Single Owner, Single driver driven. Scratchless condition, Regularly serviced. Silver color. 2005 Zen Tiger - 30000 kms run. Red Color. Sparingly used by an old gentleman, who made a series of transfers within family. I bought it as 5th owner and sold it to my friend as 6th Owner when I moved to Bangalore. The car is used only for local grocery runs by my friend. Car is in almost mint condition with one exception, due to leakage in one of the monsoons, the first owner removed the carpet and the car has bare metal exposed (covered by floor mats). The engine AC and all electricals are in working condition. |

| ![]() Prius is a great car. It is super reliable and problem free. I drove one for nearly nine years in the US with no service needed apart from oil changes. However the 6 lakh price seems really low. Be very careful as such ads are often scams. Do not pay any money upfront to reserve it and don’t fall for any embassy vehicle scams. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Posting on behalf of a friend who needs to dispose off his car due to having to move abroad. What price can he expect for a Jan-2016 (4yr old) 1.6 SX CRDi Creta run 45000 kms? Carwale app says 10.4L for a car in very good condition. |

| ![]() 10.4 sounds like a good price. I have seen deals in Pune offering less SX+ at this rate, before negotiation. |

Yes its an amazing change for a change from Accord to Fortuner. Got the deal struck for 15L inclusive of new insurance, basic servicing with new brake pads, and transfer. (there are a few more things to be done which the dealer promised and is not doing it now). so i shall be doing it on my own.

| ![]() Hey guys, 2013 530d M Sport 90,000 kms at 21 L. Is that a good price? If not, what would be the right price. My Linea's boot is always loaded to the maximum and hence my only worry with this car is the space saver tyre eating up the already small boot space for such a big car ![]() Last edited by GladRagu : 2nd December 2019 at 21:38. Congratulations for the beast. Is it 4x4? From which dealer did you get it? Actually I am also looking for 2015 but 4x4 automatic. But these are very few in Mumbai. | |

| ![]() Does 8.5L for a 2014 Corolla Altis G CVT with 50K on the odo seem like a decent price? Also, 14.5L for a 2016 Superb L&K TSI AT that has run 70K seem reasonable? Both seemingly well maintained and accident free. Heart wants Superb, head says Corolla. |

Having purchased 2 corolla's (pre-worshipped) I would advice you to check the front suspension carefully and check for any weird noises coming from front.
