Wow Dev you seem to be having fun!!!

I have been planning Goa-Shirdi for so long but has not happened so far:(

Heard from couple of my friends that due to the bouncy suspension the passengers might feel sick? how did the passengers feel on the entire journey.

I know scorp doesnt care about bad stretch and just for this reason i dont mind owning it heheh

btw whats the distance/time between Goa and Shirdi? and how are the roads?

Indeed, we had fun and lots of it. Regarding your concern about ride quality and passengers feeling road-sick, I asked my passengers last night to give me an unbiased feedback, and what I received was very positive. No surprises, no bouncing around and no nausea etc whatsoever. Also let me tell you that I maintained a constant speed of 80-90 kmph irrespective of the road at all times.
Hariya proved himself exceptionally well and I would very strongly recommend a buy.

Roads between Goa and Shirdi involve around 35 kms of Ghat section and around 100-150 kms of mildly winding roads. The road conditions are decent to very good all along. We did it through the night faced no issues whatsoever.
Make the trip, you will love it too.

Thanks bud, unfortunately we crossed Pune both times at unearthly hours and did not feel like disturbing any "peaceful family persons" at those hours... But yes, I guess I m scheduled to make another trip of Pune/Mumbai pretty soon and will definitely meet you then.

Nice report and snaps Dev ! Hope to catch you when you come down to Mumbai. And don't try coming here in the night and try getting out before the crack o' dawn and then state quams about disturbing PPPs - 'peaceful phamily persons'...!
Glad that Hariya was in cracking good spirits throughout.
Wishing you n Hariya many, many more such trips !

With a decent search and some luck, you should be able to get one in the range of 6.5-7.5 lacs for an SLX with less than 30k on the odo.

1500 kms over the weekend

We, me and Hariya toured over 1500kms over the weekend. One trip to Chengalpattu and the other one to Hornadu Annapurneshwari Temple with 4 more friends. As usual, no issues, no fuss, and complete reliability and peace of mind. Did some mild off roading to reach a river bed at Kalasa and came out unscathed.
FE ranged from 14.6-12.7kmpl depending on the terrain and ac usage. Hariya probably goes for a service the coming weekend.

Boy, owing a Scorp is boring at times. Nothing happens to it man

Well i guess Mahindra has learnt to deliver without making any noise i like that!

With the used price being so high which is obvious, i think i should go for a Bolero(CRDI) hehe

I have used the Bolero, though not the CRDe quite extensively and would never recommend it owing to its pathetic fit and finish inside, queer ergonomics, bumpy ride and lack of space in the cabin. There is just no comparison. Please think really hard before zeroing down on it.

Dev agree with you, the crdi version even the driver seating position is pathetic!

Just had a peep into Mahindra showrrom today and i have ruled out "Bolero" but am quiet keen on the "Xylo" now...

However if i get a Scorp around 5-6lacs then i might be very interested.. let me know if you come across any
