Looks really good.

I wonder whether the beige color easier to maintain than black ?

These were difficult to find and was the last set with the dealer.

hi Moosa,
My personal view is beige much easier to maintain than black mats.But in case of upholstery it's reverse.

First of all sorry for the delay in posting the pictures, but I had other priority issues in my life and I was also without a phone/camera for a while. Anyway, please find some of the pictures of the star mats placed in my Duster. I have tried to fit the mats a few times and this is the best how they fit. Also, folding is not an option that would work here.











It would be wrong for me to suggest that these mats are bad, infact their quality is pretty good. However, they don't fit well enough for my liking at the front. At the back it is even worse and pictures make it very clear.

I got a call from Star Mats on 12-Sep-2014 and they asked me for some pictures. I will direct them to this post and see how they respond.

Thanks for the photos, clearly shows that the fitting is not good. Since you are in contact with Star Mats and they have asked you to send pictures means that they value customer feedback. What it will translate into is anybody's guess !

Got an email from Star Mats team and they clarified that I have not placed the mats correctly. After looking at the pics they sent, I found the only change suggested was to move the rear right side mat to further right. The similar step needed for left side one. I tried this before but after their email, somehow I could shift the mats further. My bad!

Results: Better fitting mats, with "very little part in the air". However I still fail to understand why the middle mat has no velcro stuff, just a tiny sticking type plastic less than 1 inch on both sides? Anyway, I will leave that to the manufacturer.

As of now I have no complaints with the star mats and would recommend these to fellow bhpians.

I recently got a new facelifted polo. VW has changed the wheelbase in the facelift to increase rear space and legroom. Would it make sense for me to wait and check for the changed mats (if they ever do come), or just go ahead and purchase the star mats available online?

Did you get mats for your polo or are you waiting for changed mats? I am in a similar position, want to buy 3D Kagu mats for my polo tsi (6500/- on ebay), but am unsure about the fit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Got the star mats. They fit fine. Rear is not perfect but its workable.

Are the 3D kagu mats available at any dealer in Mumbai other than Carpoint? They have only Black colour for VW Vento and I want Beige for my Vento. Its available online everywhere for 6250 + 500 = 6750. On changemytire.com its available for 5600 but they don't have a option to select the colour! spoke with them and was told that they'll get back but haven't yet. Plus they take 4-5 working days. I am getting the delivery on this Thursday and need the mats before that otherwise will have to buy some cheap rubber mats for temp use till I get Kagu mats. So is there any dealer in mumbai other than Carpoint?

Also I think Its not the original product at many places online. coz somewhere its 3 pieces for the back. two each side and one for the floor hump and the original is a single piece for the back too. checked with Carpoint. so would prefer to buy from a local dealer.
