Any outlet for these pressure pumps in Mumbai? Washing a car at one of the petrol bunks in south Mumbai is a 500/- buck experience.

The same washer ring broke off in my pressure washer also, and the dealer says he'll need 2 days to source a new washer ring. For the time being, I have wrapped around a rubber band over the space where the rubber ring is supposed to sit, at it works fine (for the time being).

Manim, from where can I buy those clips? Those sure are a leak-proof option for joining two garden hoses.

In any hardware shop.
After a few months they get rusted and I replace them with new ones.

I use the thicker plastic strap/tie (like ones used in big-bazaar for tying bags), costs about Re 1/- a piece or so. Easy to fix. Form a ring and pull at the end as hard as you can. Works great. No rusting- near permanent solution. Use a blade/knife to shear open when needed .

how did you get this dealer contact, is it through Bosch website ? If not check the Bosch website and contact the dealers mentioned there. Also try calling some dealers in the nearby cities to find the price. Then you will come to know the exact prices prevailing in that area.
I think last couple of months, when i saw in Metro cash and carry, it was sold for 6k+
Also the price you mentioned are the MRP on the box.

This is normal. In the 'shampoo' mode the water throughput is increased (wider nozzle) and then pressure drops. Also, at high pressure it will not be able to such in the detergent.

Black&Decker PW1570TD High Pressure Washer

Today, I bought Black&Decker high pressure washer PW1570TD with angular nozzle and brush for Rs 6499 as against total MRP of Rs 10,069 at Metro, Yeshwantpur, Bangalore. I was shown demo of both Bosch Aquatak100 and Black&Decker PW1570TD. I decided in favour of the latter in view of its economical pricing [Rs 6499 vs 6990], provision of wheels at the base to facilitate movement [no wheels in Bosch Aquatak], higher pressure [120 bars vis-a-vis 100 bars], more cable length [5 m as against 3.5 m], etc. Metro says there is free trial period of 7 days, and if I am not satisfied, I can return it and get back refund/credit voucher/replacement. I was suggested to get the warranty card stamped during my next visit after expiry of 7 days free trial period. Here are some photographs:
