I bought a basic gauge locally. It can be attached to your keychain. Readings are in PSI and Kg.

Costed about Rs. 45 in Singapore.

I hope the attached images give an idea of what it's like.

Accurate? To some extent. You won't get the 2 nd decimal accuracy.

I have been having an eyeing since long to get the Tubeless repair kit, and i did get was going to post the same and you beat me to it!

I have been using the ResQtech portable pump for almost 4 months now and it has worked very well. It is dependable but the PSI readings are always slightly off (by 3-4 PSi)

I purchased it from my Maruti dealer. No talks about warranty, though they did replace my inflator once when it malfuctioned. It was entirely my own fault as it fell off from my hands. I admitted to them and asked if anything could be done-They inspected it for any "visible" damage, and gave me a new one after taking a photocopy of my bill. However, there isn't any mention of any sort of warranty anywhere.

I must say that this inflator work brilliantly. My FNG has one of these MGA inflators since past one year, and its still working, which is a surprise considering how badly they use it and the number of cars they work upon. Seeing this, I took the plunge and it hasn't disappointed me.

There is another model in MGA for about Rs.1,500 with analogue display and is fancier to look at. However that makes a loud racket when used and doesn't look well built.

No such problems with the MGA one. I did notice that while unscrewing, some amount of air comes out. So I fill 3 PSI more, unscrew the pump's nozzle, and then using the gauge, I get it to the exact desired pressure.

Tried picking up the MGA tyre pressure gauge from a Garuda workshop in Bangalore, and was directed to their showroom on Lalbaug road.

My dad travels from front of the showroom on weekdays, so he picked it up for me. Unlike the pictures above, it did not come with a box or manual or anything. The dealer told my dad that these come in lose packing. The LCD display is quite scratched, and am not sure if a used piece has been handed over to my dad. We have been billed 450 bucks for it.

While i have not yet tested it, not sure if it is worth the hassle of returning the same.

I want to buy 35L/Min Tyre Inflator. My budget is 1600-1700/-. If with warranty, better.

Previously I bought one from Snapdeal in Mar 2014, but it got worn out (started emitting smoke from 12V Socket) after one year of usage.
Then I had bought Resqtech Tyre Inflator, but it is useful mostly for two wheelers. For Cars, the speed feels to be less.
I want such 35L/Min Inflator that will prevent me from going to Puncture Walas and Petrol Pumps for filling air.

Please suggest a good reliable one.

Just had a Viair 85P (and a mechanical gauge) delivered about a week and a half ago. Newspaper background to give perspective about size.



One of the primary reason for going the Viair way was that a lot of forum members went this way after exploring all others!
Another reason was that none of the forum members who had bought Viair on this thread have reported any problems so far.

I have had ResQTech inflator in my boot for a while now. I've had a chance to used it only once before when I had a flat tyre. I've kept it as a backup for emergencies and I believe its a handy device.

Today when the air was being filled in to a flat tyre, the rotatable plastic knob that screws on to the tyre valve came off loose.
I've written to the product support and they asked me to send the pic of the detached knob.
