I never said the philips kit is 20K.
However unless you know the dealer, you may get duplicate fake Philips kit.
If you are sure its a philips Xenon(buy from distributor), then it will be around 20K It will also come with a bill and warranty

Hey,

Aren't such lights illegal? I thought all auxiliary lights MUST be fitted in line with the stock headlights.

I see this Safari quite often in the Commercial Street area (of Bangalore).

Yup, its a known brand and comes with sleek thin chrome digital ballasts. I quite liked the quality of the kit. Its available in Mumbai for 13k. IIRC, Bhpian Vikram from Pune is usind P4 HID's in his Civic as well.

Cheers

Fog lamps for my car

Dear Team, I have upgraded my Tavera's headlights to Phillips 130/100 Rally. I have also done new wiring with relay/cut out.

My questions;
1. Is a ceramic holder absolutely necessary? Will the existing holder melt?
2. I am planning to fit Hella fog lamps also. The power is 55 W. The total cost quoted is Rs. 2500. I was told that seperate wiring has to be done and another cut out has to be installed. Is it correct?
3. Should I go for yellow lights or the brighter white ones, considering the fact that I live in Pune, where it is not misty.

Please help me on my queries.

Thanks a lot!
