Re: Auto Lighting thread : Post all queries about automobile lighting here

The www.vicky.in website too shows that most of the HID Kits are around Rs.4500-5000 range.
http://www.vicky.in/shopping/car-mod...mit=100&page=1

Do they require some additional parts that have to be bought separately? Can they be fitted in the existing Headlight Assembly? What changes are required in wiring?

Are they DIY job?

I want know the cost of HID complete assembly for H4 HeadLights.

EDIT:
Are Projector Headlights different from HID HeadLights?

^^. The 500FF is compact. But for the price 700FF comes, I would opt for 700FF. Good beam pattern and looks good too.

Firstly these type of HID Conversion kits doesn't have legal cut off and beam spread as HID on normal reflectors have no control on glares which is blinding opposite traffic.

Its a cheap quality Chinese use & throw HID Conversion kit. Stay away from these non warranty kits and find a deal with 1 yr warranty kit in 6-8k range. The kit will be a DIY type which comes with all required hardwares. Make sure the bulb base (type) matches with your ride's.

Projectors are ideal for HID as its got better beam spread and sharp cut off which ensurers less glares if properly aligned. Its nothing but a projection unit with properly focused light source's output.

Thanks, but I need the HB4/9006 which is 51W originally (HB3/9005 is for the 60W, ie main beam). As for PM best it to go to the same, and you get the option to send a PM.

Those pair of headlamps really look awesome. It does not look like a retrofit job and the cruze has got a much aggressive look now. Any link to the place where you got them? Cost? Is it an off the shelf product or did you have to get the setup in your existing headlamp assembly?

Does the 4300k HID give a yellowish light in the fog lights or is it just the pic?

Re: Auto Lighting thread : Post all queries about automobile lighting here

Guys I have a general query , I have a OHC in which I have got projectors installed , so if I need to change the focus of the beam does the headlamp need to be opened and resealed to adjust the beam. Or can it be done otherwise.

Regards.
