Hi girish

It's between 3-5 months. It's more or less uniform across cities I think. It also depends on version 110 rxl seems to be easily available and also color as brown seems to have particularly long waiting.

Cheers

I heard from someone that there is going to be another price hike by Renault in January. Can you confirm this with your friend?

If this is true, then I see a lot of cancellations for the Duster. It is way overpriced already.

Supposedly, there is a waiting but i haven't even seen or heard of anyone buying the petrol one.
There was a news in which Renault said that five percent of the dusters booked were petrol.
I suppose the lack of features could be a dampener

On another note the rpm for 110 bhp at 120 km/hr is just under 2500.
As per dealer they are not taking any booking for RXE models be it 85 or 110 PS.
I also have price list which i am unable to find right now, will upload it later.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

Has anyone tried connecting the samsung S3/Note/Note2 or any
Anroid 4 version phone to the Duster BT?
My previous BB connected smoothly, downloaded the phonebook but
the new Samsung note2 doesnot.

The pairing is fine, calls can be answered and revieved
but the phonebook doesnot download. Hence I only see numbers and no names
when I recieve a call.
The dialed, recieve list always stays empty too.
Any ideas?

I have paired a Samsung Galaxy Nexus running on ICS. I see problems but not as much as you. My call list works. And my phone book gets downloaded partially every time. I am sure there is a pattern of which contacts its unable to download but I have not been able to figure that out yet. Note: it downloads all the data every time you connect and does not store any data locally.

The audio system of the Duster worked fine for my Galaxy S3 sir. Try deleting and repairing the phone

Why would you want to do that? I think the Fluence, in my books, is better than the Duster. My sister-in-law bought a Duster last week and I had a chance to drive it and I was not impressed. Its a good car but Fluence is way better anyday.

Yes, in the same way the VW Passat is better than the Skoda Yeti. Apples and oranges, my friend.

Let's not forget that the Fluence has been derived from the Renault Megane platform whereas the Duster is a car built originally by a budget low-cost manufacturer called Dacia.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

Im planning to purchase the Duster but choosing the right variant is turning out to be tough! Previously I'd decided on the base Diesel variant but when I checked its features list, it lacked basic safety kit like ABS.

What I basically want is:

Keyless entry
Front seat height adjustment
FE display
ABS

I can buy either of the two 85 or 110PS but would prefer the 85PS models becasue 110 prices takes it bang into XUV, Innova territory.

Don't require dual A.C. Rear camera/sensors are welcome.

Unless you need the GC and the so-called SUV presence, I don't see why you would need to go for the duster when you already own a better product. And in India, people do look at apples (or oranges) before buying an orange (or apple). And if you already own a passat, but would like to buy the yeti then again, I would ask the same question. But thats just my opinion.

Front seat height adjustment is available only on the 110 top end version.
That means only the 110 RXZ you get what you want.

I think all versions have this

Again only top end models have this. You also find this in the 85 RXL (option)
