Now, I am wondering if it's possible that it could be a stock clearance kind of thing. Any thoughts would ve welcome. Quite confused if I should go ahead with the process or wait.
P.S. I had asked for the oxford white!
I have booked the Titanium version yesterday. What I understand from the different dealers is that Ford had long stopped production of BS4 vehicles and clearing their stocks in a coordinated manner. Mody Ford in Hyderabad has only 90 vehicles (all makes and models included) till March 2020. They have only 3 whites and 1 white gold Figo now. Also their prices will be up by 2/3 % from DEC 2nd. Got a good deal so booked off.

Ah, okay. The car you have booked, is it the petrol or the diesel car? What was the deal you got from them, if I may ask?! Also, did you receive the vin?

It's a diesel. Got a good deal for 7.8L with free body cover, door visors and seat cover. Will be going to their stockyard next Sunday to check the Figos and choose one. There is also a fault with the steering rack in few Figos it seems. So need to see if the car I choose is going straight or no when we release the steering.

Ohhh. This I wasn't aware. Thanks, I shall keep this in mind.
7.8l for the diesel including the accessories seems pretty sweet. If am not wrong, the titanium (d) retails at 7.95 on road in chennai. The steering issue, is there a particular batch that's been impacted or is it across the spectrum?

It's actually 8.25 OTR here in HYD.
The steering issue is the major complaint I have heard my regular service center. Seems that majority thinks it's the wheel alignment and balance. But it's a fault with the vehicle and if people are aware, they change under warranty.

That is a sizable discount. The steering issue however, is quite scary. Maybe I had missed it, but I dont think have seen this being raised before in the forum?
Any chance I could pm you?

I think its the issue related to the left pulling by the car. Whenever my car is aligned at the service center, my aspire starts to pull towards left but when I get it aligned outside, it runs perfectly fine.

That is quite weird. What is the service center's reply to this?

I never bothered to talk to them about this. I just ask them not to fiddle with the alignment of the car and no further questions are asked by them.
Just make sure that you get your car aligned from someone who is expert at it.

Yes. The left pulling. What I have heard is that if the pulling is very slight, it can be managed by the balancing and alignment.

I am unaware about waranty replacements of the steering assembly. In my case, steering wheel calibration post a proper alignment at my trusted tyre shop works fine and there is no left pulling.

There is no auto-dimming function, though they claim so. Camera output is pretty good.
I have been using it for past 3 years and no complaints till date. Also considering a Ford approved accessory, I think this is OK for the money if not value for the money!!

Re: Ford Figo : Official Review

I am facing a gear lever issue with my Figo 1.5D. There was a significant noise when I was slotting out of third gear when driving. After that, there, which resembled a plastic part breaking in a snap, is no problem with slotting in and out of all the gears except the third. While trying to slot in to the third, I am not able to find the slot and I have to feel around a few seconds to find it. I will either be leaving the car in the workshop at the place of work or drive down tonight to my native 200kms away.

The odo is at 88500kms. Had anyone else faced a similar issue with their car?
