Yes, Trend+ seems very enticing now. I was missing the additional airbags and rear view camera when I changed my T+ AT booking to Trend+ AT. This now makes me feel much better! After market rear view camera on IRVM itself costs ₹12000, so with all these feature updates, price hike of ₹9900 doesn't seem much.

Nice to see enhanced feature addition

8 inch touch screen itself is good enough. Not sure if 9 inch is going to be "little" big that may be protruding more, but have to check it in person though.

For existing owners who got deliveries in last few months since November, I hope the speed sensing auto-door lock can be updated via update. If there is a way to add embedded navigation as well, that will be awesome. I assume it is just a software update and may need a SD card to store offline maps that SYNC3 can read.

Good update in my opinion. For nominal increase, value added in the form of 9 inch Infotainment along with navigation alone is great for the Trend, Trend+ and Titanium models.
Also they seem to have added the speed sensing auto lock which was standard in the previous version of Ecosport.

Seems like a good reshuffle. Speed sensing door lock has been added finally. Better late than never. Curious to see how the 9 inch touchscreen would look and operate without SYNC3. Also wonder if the quality of rear view camera would be the same as T+. All in all this is a much awaited update. I think this is an effort towards standardising features across all variants in all Ford cars.

Now even Trend variant is loaded with features and so appears VFM.

Guys this is horrible. Ford has put in a 9 inch screen but has taken out Sync3, Android auto and Apple Car Play. I really see no point of having this update. On the other hand, Titanium+ retains the older 8.0 inch screen.

I think they are trying to differentiate the Titanium and Titanium+ variants to more than just safety features as was the case earlier. Same strategy can be seen in the Freestyle's feature spread across variants.

I know a few who people skipped on Titanium+ and opted for Titanium because they didn't want to pay more "just" for 4 more airbags since the kit was same. Its sad but safety is not a priority for the average Indian car buyer.

Didn't expect this as i assumed the 9 inch screen is with SYNC3 system! That's not good news. Are they bringing back the old touch screen that was sold with Platinum edition in pre-face lift EcoSport, because it had embedded nagivation in it?
In the brouchure for T+ embedded navigation is mentioned as N/A because it has SYNC3 system. So i guess its not possible to update existing SYNC3 systems with embedded navigation at all.

If the brochure is to be believed, the Titanium+ variant looks to be 50Kgs heavier than the Trend.

Delivery for Titanium+ AT is fixed for 16th April. Saw that speed sensing autolock has been enabled by Ford as per updates today. Can this be enabled by dealer for existing vehicle as the vehicle has reached the yard?

What all value propositions are Ford trying to aim it by giving 9 inch infotainment whlile taking away Carplay & Android Auto? Would giving Sat-Nav instead, suffice the functionalities being taken off?

No SYNC means, no AndriodAuto, Apple CarPlay as well. :-/
These two should have been made available in my opinion at Titanium atleast.

I think there will be a software update to enable auto door lock for existing cars as well. This was a glaring omission as it is from a security perspective.

Without Android Auto/Apple Carplay and Sync3, can one connect the smartphone to car's infotainment system? And even if it's connected then what can one use it for? Can call connect/disconnect and music change from smartphone be operated through infotainment system without AA/AC and Sync?
