It certainly will. Both the Taigun and Kushaq will not be making a significant impact in the Indian market. The EPC issue not withstanding, the competitors understand the pulse of the average Indian buyer much better than VAG. "Unmatched driving dynamics" will not cut it for VAG in India. IMO MG/Hyundai/Kia will rule the urban SUV/Crossover market in India.

VW removed a significant amount of goodies from the 1.5 Manual GT. I would be happy to see that car costing around 14L as that is then, a good buy! Another 30 minutes and we will know.

Tai-Gun sounds better than Tai-Goon, even though 'Gun' and 'Goons' are somewhat related

The 1.5 will be available in a performance line, variants available as GT in manual and GT+ with 7 speed DSG
