Max, Drogba plays for Chelsea. I think Arsenal and Chelsea are still in the hunt. But Man Utd seem to be pulling away lately. Its going to be fun in the last 3.5 months of the season.

Fortunately for all Arsenal Fans like me, the hit the law of averages in Carling Cup. They seem to be placed just right to win EPL this season as they always do well in second half of the season.

Man U seem to be too depndent on Ronaldo, if they lose him to injury then they will struggle. Chelsea might also pose a good challenge, but after Mourinho's exit, they have become boring. No fire works there.

Yeah, but look at it this way - Spurs player Jenas missed a sitter, then Berbatov's shot hit the post. Then, the penalty was so, so avoidable (if he hadn't stuck his hand out, nothing would have happened)

Without all these, I don't think a 3-1 was on the cards. Despite being down to 10 men, the Spurs had more possession of the ball in the Man U half

Absolutely, Suman. I saw the match and what was missing in Spurs was probably the big match experince and that whre Man U surged ahead. Spurs are like the old Indian Cricket Team, great talent, long traditional, fanatical fans but unable to give long consistent good performance, just an odd good game such as Arsenal match.

Great news for all Football fans in India!
Bharati Group to invest Rs 100 Crore to uplift Football in India!

Mittal's support for football stirs fan-India-The Times of India

Quote:
As a first step, the telecom company aims to start a world class football academy which will be set up either in Haryana or Goa.
Mittal said he wants a "football revolution" in the country and is ready to invest "any amount of money" necessary for providing a world class academy.
"We have an aim to make this country a football nation and the next 10 years must be a target for India to be at the World Cup. This project has the capacity to transform the nation and all the investment would be made by Bharti Foundation," Mittal said.
"We have become too obsessed with cricket and the time has now come for us to develop football in the country. Nothing is more pulsating than the 90-minute entertainment on a football field," he said.

Arsenal have been dropping points like crazy. 4 consecutive draws when they are leading with a comfortable margin is simply not on. ManU are on top now with Chelsea closing in steadily. Bad news for Wenger's men.

Cant wait for super sunday with the big four playing each other.

Yes, Arsenal are looking a bit out of sorts in the last 4 games. ManU continue their winning form with Christiano looking very good. Liverpool is climbing the table pretty steadily too.

This Sunday should be loads of fun.

Last night's Tottenham vs Chelseas match had to be one of the best matches so far this year in the EPL. All credit to the Hotspurs as they came from behind thrice to level with Chelsea.

The fact that Berbatov almost sealed an unlikely win for Tottenham in the dying moments speaks volumes of the sheer quality of the match!
