I understand it is within Bangalore, but still. I am now very happy.
Catch is that you find a seller within your city. Same city delivery happens the quickest !

You're lucky.

Amazon took 2 weeks to send me a 25K camera and the seller was from Bangalore. This was during diwali.

re: The "Online Shopping" Thread

Ordered Spice Android One twice from Flipkart. Each time it was delivered under 18 hours of placing the order. 1st time I had ordered it at 8pm and it was delivered by 9:30am next morning! 2nd time I ordered it at 5:30pm and it got delivered at 8am in the morning!

I guess if WS Retail has the item in the same city, it gets delivered super quick. I have also ordered memory card from another seller on Flipkart but the item is still under approval status even after 18 hours of placing the order.

On the other hand ordered a flip cover for the spice android one phone from Ebay, the item is in the couriers depot in open condition status and an escalation is in progress. Will wait and see how that pans out.

I try to find next-day-guaranteed. I paid for that Flipkart First: might as well use it!

You waited for 2 weeks !! I would have cancelled the order or would have demanded a refund or a heavy compensation in form of gift coupons ;-)

Infibeam is decent. The max costing product i bougt from them was about 800 bucks (scale model car), apart from some small stuffs. Good delivery.
I am not very confident if you are putting 50k worth of money on that site. If it is a COD offer, you can possibly try.

Would prefer Flipkart or Snapdeal anyday. Prices on SD are mostly competitive.

Their rates are the cheapest. The offer is only on Credit card EMI.

They are giving a 6.8K discount on the IPhone 6 that no other seller is offering.

Also they are the direct sellers of Apple. There are no 3rd party vendors involved. What should I do? The offer is very tempting.

It's not a 6K lower price. They are reducing the price of the phone but charging interest. The interest crosses the price of the phone.

They charge interest anyway. The difference is with this discount it is actually becoming a 0 interest scheme if we consider the price at 62500. (I am considering the 64GB IP6).

I will be more elaborate. THere are 2 scenarios:

1. No discount.
Price:-62500
Term-18 months
So you end up paying interest @ 15% which comes to around 8000 at the end of the period.

2. Discount=INR 6800
Price-62500
Reduced price on which the EMI is calculated= 55700
So you end up paying interest @ 15% which comes to around 6800 at the end of the period.
So if you look at it you are actually paying the price 62500 in 18 months without any interest which I feel is not bad.

P.S: I think I will go with the cash back offer just for the peace of mind. It is available on all major stores. I am getting a cash back of INR 7700 for the 64GB.

There is an official ad in today's newspaper. Its an 18 month EMI scheme with a cash back offer. It is available on all leading stores. The ad also mentions that it is available on online stores as well but I have not found one in any.
