I did a review a sometime back. Its a decent watch. Good suspense, gripping storyline, surprisingly well scripted and keeps you on edge of the seat.

worth a watch.

^^^Agree! Watched it yesterday and the twist was interesting. Liam plays these roles quite well. Movie kind of reminded me of 'The Manchurian Candidate'.

The Joneses (2009) - IMDb

Movie staring David Duchonvy, Demi Moore and Amber Heard (:sigh , and is about them being a family everybody wants to be like. Very interesting premise and as I had not seen the trailers, I found it quite unexpected and different. Well worth a one time watch.

My rating : 3.5/5

Megamind (2010) - IMDb

This was one recent animated movie that I had failed to catch. Again, great storyline, good animation and some very clever acts as well. Loved it, and should be worth a one time watch for all animation lovers.

My Rating :3.5/5

Priest (2011)

A priest vs vampire movie. A decent one time watch. Predictable story line, good CGI, good action. Watch it if you have nothing to do.

3/5

Hall Pass - owen wilson

Hilarious movie about two guys given hall pass from wedding. Basically they are given a week off to do whatever they want. Done by their wives to keep marriage alive it becomes roles reversal. Hilarious scenes follow and makes for a good watch. Had no expectation from the movie, was surprised to find it was funny.

Leave your brains at home or rather in a closet when watching at home.

4.5/5

Recently watched The Tourist during one my flight. Maybe I had expectations, that I find the movie quite a dud. Saving grace was the lead pair (but they always do well!)

Saw " Shadow Man" starring Steven Seagal.

Story is about an ex-CIA man making a trip to Europe ( Romania) with his small daughter who gets kidnapped by some people and he has 3 different parties behind him. Local Police, Goons and CIA to get their hands on a secret formulae they all think is with SS.

Locales were very beautiful and action was incredible making this movie a worthwhile watch for SS fans.

Except for his hideous taste in jackets, SS is absolutely awesome with his truly different and easy and unhurried style of fighting.

4/5

P.S: Next in Line " Random Hearts" starring Harrison Ford

Watched The Town

The English Movies Thread (No Spoilers Please)-the_town.jpg

The movie is about a group of Bank Robbers who are from a small Town near Boston know as Charlestown, which is famous for being home to the largest number of Bank robbers in America.

The movie is based on Chuck Hogan's novel Prince of Thieves.

The movie is about one of the guy(Ben Affleck) in the gang, who tries to break out from the bank Robbery scene after getting involved with one girl whom they kidnapped during one of the robberies.

The movie is Directed by Ben Affleck & although received lot of positive reviews from critics.

I for one found the movie to be quite simple with nothing much interesting in the overall plot.

Rating - 2.5/5

Watched " Random Hearts" Starring Harrison Ford and Kirsten Scott Thomas

Story of HF wife and KST's husband having an affair and they die in an aircrash. Its known to them only after this crash and they go about investigating the commencement of this affair et. all.

Story began on a promising note then fizzled out to just meaningless meandering and seemed no point for continuing or completing the film.

Disappointed since it was made by Sydney Pollack

2/5

This is an awesome movie Avi.Forest Whitaker at his very best, playing the role of the dreaded dictator Idi Amin.

Whitaker received critical acclaim for his performance and this role got him an Oscar, Golden globe & BAFTA.
