I would give it another 1 for Jennifer Aniston itself. Man the movie was really damn funny. Of course it was a no brainer, but that's how most comedies are. And Kevin Spacey was awesome too. And did you notice Colin Farrell?

My take. 4/5.

I felt sad that Jennifer had to take up such a role. In fact I was not able to recognise the actress for a long time in the movie.
Overall I liked the movie. Colin Farell was good.

Au contraire, I felt this was one of Jennifer Aniston's best acted & appreciated role. After Friends, this was in fact the first time I have liked her on the big screen. Buttt, its my personal opinion.

My favorite movies of 2011:
1. Drive: I have become a BIG fan of Ryan Gosling. His interpretation of a complex character, the background score, the plot and the subtle expressions of a brooding and mysterious protagonist on the other side of law is just picture perfect. For me its a cult-classic
2. The King's Speech: If you have Colin Firth, its ought to be a hit. Well, for me the hero of the movie was Geoffrey Rush.
3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Gallows - part 2: Finally some justice done to the book. Loved it.
4. Adventures of tintin - Spielberg and Jackson - though expected a bit more - Tintin looked a little lost at times. Snowy and Haddock were gems. The chase sequence is a class apart.
5. Rise of the Planet of the Apes/Kung Fu Panda - 2



Yet to watch Mission Impossible and Sherlock Holmes, though am not a big fan of either Cruise or Downey Jr.

Oh, absolutely loved Simon Pegg (as Benji). He is one actor that brings any role to life.

Oh! How did I forget mentioning Simon Pegg. Awesome stuff from him and brit humour is usually unbeatable

If you can get, then watch Europa Europa (not the Lars von Trier film Europa). It is about a jew boy who hides his identity to survive (first amongst russians and then amongst nazis). One hell of a movie. I saw it long back when I was in Germany (I think it is a german film). One of the best WW2 movies I have seen.

Others in recommended list are The Pianist (its also on similar lines as Europa Europa). The downfall (Der Untergang) is another film that is based on last 12 hours of Hitler's life I think. Then there is Das Boot that is a great one (but its quite long). Another great german war film is Rosenthal's Triumph of the Will (its a Nazi propaganda film). Chaplin's The Dictator is also a must see. The last two are B/W films.

Lest I forget, The Reader! An amazing film, simply gotta see it. But most of these are slow dramas. If you want action, you got Hollywood

Saw MI4 yesterday, and I must say, its full paisa vasool movie! Its action scenes are too good, especially the Dubai skyscraper scene. Good work done by Tom Cruise.

One thing I noted though, he always drove the BMW in it - from 1 series to i8!

Same pinch Saw the movie last night. The movie, specially the Kremlin and Dubai part, was mind blowing. My heart came up to my throat when TC swings across and tries to jump into the room on the Dubai high rise (forget the name)!

However, the part where they showed India was really pathetic. The scene says Mumbai but the sign boards were in Kannada! And the parking lot bit - jeez!

Also, all communication devices were of Apple! IMF has upgraded!

Fifty Dead Men Walking is a 2008 English-language crime thriller film written and directed by Kari Skogland. It is a loose adaptation of Martin McGartland's 1997 autobiography of the same name. It premiered in September 2008, and stars Jim Sturgess as Martin McGartland, an informant within the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA), and Ben Kingsley as Fergus, his British handler.
The film is set from 1987 until 1991, the time in which McGartland acted as an undercover informant within the IRA during The Troubles. In 1991 his cover was blown and he was kidnapped by the IRA, although he later escaped and went into hiding.
At the time of the release of the film McGartland was still in hiding. The film takes its name from McGartland's claim within his book to have saved the lives of fifty people during his time as an informant.

Loved the Irish/Scottish (?) accent in the movie.

Same here. Saw it last night and loved it. Burj Khalifa shots were spectacular.

The sore parts were the over-the-top sand storm, the fake Mumbai and Brij Nath. The humor was a good addition to the MI franchise. Brad Bird should do more action films.

Brij Nath was definatly the sore part
And guess he might have suggeted the scene, where sand storm fades as soon as the villian make escape (Was too bollywood-ish).

Bollywood actors making it to true hollywood would be Om Puri, Gulshan Grover and Nasir Shah who have shown their talent.
