Most critics have given Paa 3-3.5. Waiting for Varun/ Techno/ Harsh to take a plunge.

Paa: Watched this movie online. Well made and directed movie on a boy who suffers from a disease which causes quick ageing. The relationship between the mom and son played by vidya balan aint great to talk about as i felt that the grandma played by arundathi nag is excellent and she and amitabh as the kid have good chemistry. Lots of jokes about the potty and Grandma is even called Bum. But thats sweet and wont gross you out.

Abhishek played a verm calm and good role. Felt he was balanced. Paresh rawal repeats himself from Cheeni Kum. Good acting there.

Amitabh Bachan is good throughout and he pulls of this role realy well. At times you realise thats him under the skin due to his very known voice but majority of the time you never realize. Good movie. You wont get tears unlike TZP but is worth a watch after all the garbage which has been dished out in the past weeks like De Dana Dhan, Kurbaan, London Dreams and got to mention this Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani.

ABC corp have a good movie in hand and got to markte this well. They will make some moolah atlast.

Rating: 3.5/5

Watched the chick flick Dil To Pagal Hai. It is made in the dance drama format. Both heroines (Madhuri and Karishma) looked beautiful and danced well. Watch it only if you can digest heavy doses of melodrama.

Saw Paa yesterday .. A good movie .. The bigger B was just amazing and his activities just matched with a 12 year old kid .. A few but very timely jokes ... Vidya Balan and Abhishek Bachhan did justice to their names .. The movie shows a bit of politics which was a bit overdone and has no connection to the real story .. The romance between Abhishek and Vidya balan just ends in 1 song ..

Its a good story but somehow there are some irrelevant stuff which could have been avoided.. Would have loved to have a few more scenes between mom and the kid.

Having told all these negative words I loved this movie due to the actors .. Arundhati Nag was too good as a granny. Paresh Rawal's role was short and sweet ...

A very good watch ... My rating 3.5/5.

Well did any one watch RADIO ???

Paa has Music from old Malayalam movie!

I happened to watch the song 'Gumm Summ Gumm' from the movie Paa today and guess what, it triggered nostalgia because the music is ditto copy of a very famous and very old Malayalam movie song titled "Thumbi Vaa Thumbakkudathin..."

This was sung by S. Janaki.
Music is by Ilayaraja, no wonder Paa also has the same composition.

This is one of Ilayaraja's best compositions ever.

Just to let you know this is not freshly made for this Bollywood movie..

@clevermax: Good find. Its a replica

Jail: A decent movie with a same story of an innocent middle class guy who is deemed criminal in a drug case. The same Thaareek pe thareek wala stuff. About how you may go in wrong directions just to get out when your inside the jail is what it deals with.

Manoj Bajpai has a nice role and does his job but he has 1 emotion throughout the movie. His role in Satya still is the best followed by pinjar.

Neil nitin mukesh looks lost for the majority of the movie and i didnt like his acting. Again looking forlorn and stuff.

Mugda godse had to just wipe out the make up for scenes which required emotions and there she was. Nothing spectacular or even average. She has to join himesh in getting some lessons.

The mother has just the sidekick kind of role in the movie with maybe 5 lines in it.

Some good actors like atul kulkarni are introduced in the end but wasted as they could have made the movie a lot better.

Anyways i would go with 2/5 for this. I felt Page 3 is still good and Madhur is loosing his hold on such movies as they dont have the kind of stuff page 3 had to hold you in your seats. Traffic signal was lame. This was better
